I was turning into the parking lot of the boutique that Leigh wanted to visit, when all of a sudden some dumbass decided to try and pull onto the road.
They are lucky that Leigh was with me; otherwise I would have followed their ass and gave them a piece of my mind. Who the fuck drives like that?
"Leigh, are you ok?" No matter how much shit I talk about my sister, that doesn't change how I feel about her. I'm her big brother and I will protect her at all costs.
"I'm fine, let's just try to get to the boutique."
I pulled up to the boutique and parked the car. "It's closed Mark...."
The desolate tone in my sister's voice made me wish that I would have been just a little bit quicker. "Let me see what time they close, maybe we can make it tomorrow."
A small smile graced her lips as she said, "Thanks Mark."
They closed at 7:00, so tomorrow we will be her at 5:00. This will give her exactly 2 hours to shop for a dress, and if she doesn't find anything then I will just have to bring her to another store.
"How bout I drop you off at my place and you can have the whole house to yourself for an hour?"
"Oh my a whole hour? What do you expect me to do in such little time?"
"Invite a few friends over, like 2. I know that I normally don't let your little friends over, but I will make an exception tonight. I'm going to a party a few blocks away. Stay safe Arleigh."
"Yeah, yeah love you too."
