👑 Chapter 28 👑

Markey's POV

Leigh was spending the night at my house, so I decided to pick up some food for her. I told her that she could invite a few friends over, but I didn't want her to go overboard.

I pulled up to McDonalds and started ordering food. What do teenage girls eat anyways? I just got a little bit of everything. I thought maybe Mariah would want a bit of a snack for now. What the fuck is a happy meal? Well it has chicken nuggets, maybe she will like that.

After Mariah almost blew up on me because of the happy meal, I decided that would not be a mistake that I would repeat.

I needed to hurry home to pick up the food and get the jet started. I took the route to the back of the mansion because that's where the jet was. It was a gift from a wealthy client who really loved the home I designed for him.

Mariah and I enter the house, and it was as if we entered a bar. The music was so loud it seemed as if the house was shaking.

Since Leigh can't listen, maybe embarrassment would be a great teaching tool. I got on the intercom and told Leigh to come to the back entrance; I also told all the kids that their parents had been notified. They actually believed me.

A guy around Leigh's age was standing too close to Mariah. Since I walked over to the intercom, she was no longer right next to me. As I got closer to the two of them, I caught bits of their
conversation.

Apparently he was a little trouble maker just like Leigh, who I may add, just walked into the room like there was no problem at all.

I decided to just go with the original plan and just let Leigh have a few female friends over. Mariah's brother Chance would be there too. In the game room, far away from my sister. I sent a txt to Leya and asked her and Brent to come by.

It may not have been completely necessary because the moment Chance entered the game room, he shut everything else out. I just would rather be safe than sorry. I never met this lil dude before. What if he tries something with my sister?

If they are here I can completely focus on this date, instead of continuously checking up on Leigh. They said they would be here in about 10 minutes. I was leaving in 5, which would leave a 5 minute gap in between adult supervision. I knew that I could leave Leigh alone for at least that long.

I led Mariah to the jet. The crew had it started already.

"Where are we going?" She asked as we took our seats.

"Well, I did tell you that we were going to stop and get some food."

"Yes, but there are plenty of places that we can go to get food, that don't involve using a private jet."

"Maybe, but those are simple places for people with no imagination. You, beautiful, deserve only the best."

While we were on the plane I got her to do a bit of karaoke with me. Then we caught up on a few of our favorite shows. The flight was great.

Finally, we touched down. I couldn't wait until she saw everything.

We walked off the plane onto the tarmac. Our driver was already waiting for us. He led us out to the car and we began driving along the beach.

"Have you guessed where we are yet?"

"Did you really bring me to Miami?"

"Of course. There is nothing too good for you."

"You are just full of surprises."

"Just wait."

As we began to get closer to our destination, I pulled out a blindfold.

"Do you trust me?" I asked while holding the blindfold.

"You better not be trying to do anything kinky. I'm not getting into bed with you that easily."

"Nothing kinky today Ma, but I can't make any promises for the future."

"She turned around so that I could secure the blindfold over her eyes."

A moment later I stepped out of the car. I took off my shoes and socks, and set them on the seat. I helped Mariah to the end of the seat and took off her shoes. I replaced them with some little lace thing. Leya said they were called barefoot sandals. How can you be barefoot if you are wearing sandals?

Once Mariah was out of the car, I led her over to where the meal was set up.

I couldn't wait to see the look on her face when I removed the blindfold.
