It has been a month since we had gotten married. Key was starting to act different. I guess you don't show your true colors until later down the road. It was nothing extreme or anything, but it was the small changes that stood out.
Before we got married, there was not enough time in the world to spend with me. Now, he can't seem to spend any time with me. He throws himself into work and I rarely see him.
I mean, I know what it's like to have your own business. I know what it's like to wake up early and have to stay out late. I'm not talking about spending the whole day together, just actually being able to have a decent conversation at least twice a week.
He keeps talking about this big project that he is working on, I'm so over it. He woke up about 10 minutes ago and is currently in the shower. I decided to get up and make him breakfast. When he finally came into the kitchen, he only had enough time to kiss me on the forehead, and then he was out the door.
I packed the breakfast in some to go plates. I would just save the food and have breakfast after with Leya and Lacey.
I went to my room and got dressed.

I felt the need to be a bit extra today. I would not let the way my morning started, completely ruin the whole day.
I walked into the shop and heard Leya's voice right away.
"Damn baby, let me get your number."
"Sorry sweetie, I'm already taken."
"You sure love, I could show you a good time?"
"Maybe next week."
This was just our everyday greeting. It was Leya's way of letting me know that she loved my dress. She was currently dressed in the outfit I made her last week.

My phone pinged from my purse. I set everything on the counter and fished it out. I unlocked the screen and saw that it was a text from Key.
Zaddy😍😍💋❤💋: Hey I'm leaving out n a few. I will stop by b4 I head out. Got a job in Cali. This is a big 1 so will be gone for about a month. Me: We have barely spoken in days. Zaddy😍😍💋❤💋: I leave n 10 min I will be there n 2 n u can talk to me till it's time to go. Me: jus forget it, go Zaddy😍😍💋❤💋: I wish u weren't actin like this Me: Actin like wat, u kno wat🖕🏾
I blocked his number and stuffed my phone in my purse. I looked up and Leya met my eyes. She smiled at me sympathetically.
"Key is going out of town for a job, either one of you want to come keep me company?"
"Heaux, we are so there. I have a friend that I would like the two of you to meet. I think she would fit right along with our group."
"Invite her over, by all means, there will be enough room."
Leya left an hour later. I was so excited about tonight. I was still upset by the whole situation with Key, but I put it to the back of my mind.
The rest of the day seemed to drag on. I love my shop and all the business, but some days seemed too long. It was mainly the days when customers came in sporadically. I wish they would just flood the store.
Don't get me wrong, the business was doing well, but I wish there was more people coming in. I loved to see the different people that came in my shop. I loved the different languages they spoke. Most of all, I loved the common ground that was created when they found a dress they absolutely loved.
I decided to make a dress. Normally, I liked to start on dresses in the morning, but I needed a distraction. As the business grew, we were able to hire more staff. Now I don't have to feel guilty for going in the back to make a dress, while Lacey worked the desk.
I got to work. Seems like I would have this beauty finished right in time for closing. I was so wrapped up in the dress, that I didn't hear Lacey come in.
"Rye she screamed."
This girl was going to give me a heart attack. I turned to face her.
"I knocked on the door and called your name 3 times. What are you working on?" She asked as she laughed.
I finished the last stitch, and showed her the dress. She loved it. She began talking about which piece of jewelry would accentuate it best.
As we locked up and made our way to our vehicles she was still talking about the dress. She finally stopped to take a breath. She pulled out her keys and said bye. She was going home to pack a bag and would meet me back at my place.
I arrived home and ran a bath. I pulled out my phone and unblocked his number. I know that I told him to just go, and I blocked his number, but I missed him. I got in the tub and grabbed a bath bomb. I dropped it in the water and leaned back in the tub. As it fizzled, my stress began to melt away.
After cleaning off I put in some jammies. Then I pulled out my phone and ordered pizza. My phone pinged. I pulled it out and looked at the screen.

I heard the doorbell and I went to go answer it. When I opened the door, I saw Leya and her friend. She was gorgeous. I invited them in and told them the pizza was on the way.
Ryleigh was so funny. She was a breath of fresh air and just so down to earth. Leya was right; she fit into our group perfectly. She didn't stay all night though. We were halfway through our second movie when she got a phone call. She took the call and left right afterwards.
I started feeling horrible. I went to the room and found the box. This wasn't the first time I felt like this. I just got really nauseated and extremely dizzy. I sat on my bed, debating if I should take it or not. Finally, I just took it and went in the bathroom.
It was one of the digital ones that you just had to pee on. I peed on the stick and set it down. I finished using the restroom and washed my hands. I looked at my phone and I heard the timer go off. It's now or never. I looked at the pregnancy test and I saw the plus sign.
We were going to have a baby. I was so excited, I wanted to tell Key. I decided to wait and tell him in person. I couldn't tell the girls before him, so I made sure that I looked calm. Then I went back and watched the movie.
