I secretly couldn't wait until tonight. I was really starting to like him, but I didn't want to. Yes he was sex on legs, but he was a conceited jerk also. It was great that he wanted my number, but I couldn't just give in and let him have it.... Then the game would be over.
He just makes me so confused. It's like he gives off this extremely arrogant vibe, but then he shows the soft side that he has for his sisters.
I mean honestly, how many guys will bring their younger sister to the store? And her let her try on dresses all day until her heart was content, who does that?
He was an enigma. When he kissed my hand, I could feel a blush form on my cheeks. I couldn't decide whether or not I should try to get to know the real him or just leave things how they were.
Key and Leigh were my last customers for the day and I began to clean up as soon as they left. Pretty soon it would be time for Key and Chaz to pick us up. I'm so nervous about tonight.

The dress was simple, but I loved the flared skirt. I made this dress because I love pieces that are simple yet elegant.
It didn't hurt that Lacey's outfit went with a similar scheme. I love that my job was geared more to the fabric and sewing aspects of fashion, whereas her skills lay in accessories.

The outfit that Lacey is wearing was made just for her. Lacey loves floral print and I just knew that the lace would tone the floral down, just a bit. Lacey is a bit of a tease, so I made the top just short enough to show off a bit of skin. I had a feeling that she would pair the set with a set of booties. They would put just enough emphasis on her legs to make them look miles long.
"Do I look okay? What am I saying? I look better than okay.... I'm just really nervous, you know?"
"Lacey, just treat this like any other time when you hang out with Chaz. This isn't the first time that you have been in his proximity. Besides, I can tell that he likes you just as much as you like him."
"How can you be sure Rye?"
"We're going on a double date Lacey, what more proof do you need?"
"We are going on a double date because Key wants you."
"Then why is it a double date?"
"You shot him down all night long. He probably figured that the only way that he could get you to go out with him was if he invited me along too."
"Lacey, I think you're down playing Chaz's feeling for you. Did you not see the glare he was shooting at Key anytime that the two of you would talk last night?"
"Oh, you mean the same ones you were shooting at me when I talked to Key?"
"We're not talking about me right now."
"But you're not denying that you were glaring at me either."
"The point is, Chaz likes you just as much as you like him. There is nothing to be nervous about. You're beautiful Lace. If he doesn't see that, then he's not the one for you."
"The point is, Key likes you and you like him. Maybe you should just give him a chance."
"Listen, how about we make a deal? I will try to be more open to Key, if you give Chaz a real chance."
Lacey is beautiful, inside and out. Sometimes she just forgets. She works so hard to get guys to like her that sometimes she loses herself along the way.
