Chapter 7- It will Never be the Same

Adi does a double take and then looks at me.

Adi-" Holy shit. Cameron?!?!"

Cameron slightly smiles.

Adi bro hugs him.

Adi-" Whats good bruh?"

Cameron-" Good you?"

Adi-" Hella lit at this party."

Jojo, Cenna and Nick all greet Cameron.

He told them all what had happened when he left. They all understood.

Adi-" Bro, I am sorry you had to go through that. I am glad though we saw you here."

Cameron-" I won't keep you guys waiting. I should probably go."

Adi-" Ah no way. You and Bailey should catch up we'll talk later."

Adi smiles as he brushes by my shoulder.

I roll my eyes.

Cameron scratches the back of his head. 

Cameron-" So uhh."

I chuckle.

Me-" Believe they all are the exact same 15 year olds you remember. Just in adult bodies."

Cameron laughs at my joke.

Cameron-" Just like how I remember the guys.... You"

I blush a bit.

Me-" Yeah they are great. They are amazing friends."

Cameron kind of looks down looking sad.

Cameron-" Small things changed." He look at me a little bit. " So uh... When did you and Adi start dating?" 

I look at him wide eyed. I laugh.

Cameron looks confused.

Me-" Your funny."

Cameron looks at me serious.

I stop laughing.

Me-" Oh shit you are serious?!?!"

He slightly nods his head.

Me-" That goof is my best friend. He is literally my brother. I only see him that way. Why?"

Cameron-" Well.. It would have been a shame. If you were dating" he says still scathing the bad of his head."

Me-" What do you mean..." I stop and realize. " Oh.." I was dumbfounded I did not expect that.

I start to blush really bad.

Cameron slightly laughs.

Cameron-"Wanna go on a walk?"

Me-" Sure." I say as I smile.

Man, I did not expect that. I used to have a crush on Cameron. But I never thought he did. Or saw me a way more than a friend.

We walk for 5 minutes up the shoreline. We decide to sit.

Me-"What made you come back now?"

Cameron-" Well.. I am legally an adult. I can leave home. My mom can't stop me anymore I have charge on my life."

Me-" I get that. It makes sense."

Cameron-' I have missed you so much."

Me-" I have missed you too"

I put my head on his shoulder and he puts his arm around me.

About another bit goes by.

Cameron begins to get up.
