Chapter 59- Ideal Way to Be

It is now after the trip to Lake Tahoe.

We got hope safely.

Its been a while since then and its now winter break officially.

My sister is getting married soon and my entire family has never been closer.

My mom is so excited.

I never thought she would be like this towards something like this.

But I can get used to it,

I thought my mom would be kinda cold hearted toward the whole wedding idea but I was really wrong.

Today is my sisters wedding dress shopping day.

We went to a small dress shop that was near our local mall.

The people there were me, my sisters and my mom.

Growing up I always wondered what it was like inside a dress store like this.

I always loved dresses and shopping in general.

We entered the store and my sisters immediately went towards the dresses.

Me and my mom sat and waited for them to go to the changeroom.

My mom out of nowhere started talking to me.

Mom-" Your sister is getting married then brianna, then you Bailey."

I chuckle at her comment.

Me-"I don't want to think that far ahead."

Mom-"Oh, honey you don't. You should find a guy that has good carrer goals, someone you've known for a long time, is your friend."

I sit up straight and clear my throat.

Me-"I will never date Adi mom."

Mom-"Why?"

Me-"He is happy with his girlfriend."

Mom-"I heard from his mom they broke up."

Me-"They are together mom."

Mom-"I just want the best for you."

Me-"I know. But me being happy is not being in a relationship with Adi."

Mom-"Fine then. I will respect your decision. But if something happens. I told you so." she laughs.

Oh my. My mom is in a rare mood.

My sister Bethany comes out in the first dress.

I see tears in my moms eyes as her attention is drawn to my sister.

I look at my sisters dress she had on.

She looked absolutely beautiful.

My mom wiped her eyes,

Bailey-"You look amazing Bethany. "

Bethany turned towards us and laughed.

Bethany-"Mom your really crying?"

Mom-"You look stunning Bethany."

Bethany tried on a few more dress and then me and Brianna tried on some bridesmaid dresses.

I go into the change room and try on the dress.

I walk out and go in front of my mom and sisters.

My sisters smiled and so did my mom.

Bethany-"You look great Bailey."

I smiled.

Me-"Thanks."

I turn to look at myself in the mirror.

I get changed out of the dress.

Me, my mom and my sisters sit down in the seating area and they start talking about who is walking down the isle with who.

My sister bethany starts talking.

Bethany-"Me and ethan wanted a small wedding with only close family and friends. So the grooms men include Adi, Tal, and ethans brother james. Then the bridesmaids include you bailey, brianna, and shani. Shani is walking with Adi, brianna with james and Bailey with Tal."

I clear my throat.

Me-"I am walking with Tal? I thought I was walking with Adi?"

Bethany-"Shani asked me if she could walk with Adi. "

I scoff. I see what she did. This was all a little setup scheme.

My mom and sister leave the seating area to pay for the dresses.

I look at brianna. I could see she was smiling and holding in her laugh.

Me-"Brianna, you and shani... Imma get you guys back for this one."

Brianna breaks her silence laughing at me.

I roll my eyes.

Me-"Why did you do this?"

Brianna-"It was shani's idea. Plus I saw what happened between you and Tal at lake tahoe. "

Me-"Whats that exactly?"

Brianna-"Well, let me start with the basic things, the way he looks at you, when you guys mysteriously left that one night, the way you get jealous of him when hes with other girls. "

I look at her wide eyed. My cheeks turn tomato red.

Me-"How did you... I mean... I was never jealous..."

Brianna's face turns serious.

Brianna-"You started dancing with that other guy, he was irritated by it if you didn't notice. You guys have to stop this game. You guys like eachother obviously."

I was speechless.

Brianna continued talking.

Brianna-"If you really don't wanna walk with him... I can ask shani, you can walk with Adi."

I stop her.

Me-"I want to walk with Tal."

Brianna-"Okay sounds good, you should tell him how you feel. I love you bailey and I want you to be happy."

I look down.

Me-"Lately I have not talked to any of my friends... since the trip. Something happened that made me feel confused. I just want to get this wedding over with then I can figure out whats going on with me."

Brianna-"Okay. "

We finished shopping and made our purchases.
