Chapter 55-

I walk into the kitchen.

All the sudden I get a phone call.

It was Adi.

I pick it up and walk outside. I shut my back door.

I pick up the phone.

Me-"Adi?"

Adi-"Where did you an Tal go."

Me-"He left, did you call emily?"

Adi-"I told her what was going on and I am trying to figure out what is going on between us."

Me-"Adi, thats good news. "

Adi-"From what we talked about... i am unsure at the moment."

I don't respond.

Adi-"Bailey you there?"

Me-"Yes."

Adi-"Can you come back over? "

Me-"I think its better if I didn't."

Adi-"Why? Tal is the one who fucked up."

Me-"I need some time to myself."

Adi-"Ok, I understand."

Me-"Bye"

I walk back inside.

Tal-"Who was that?"

Me-"Adi."

Tal-"Is everything ok now?"

Me-"He talked about things with Emily but..."

Tal-"But?"

Me-"I would still wait a while to talk things out with him."

Tal-"Ok."

Me-"You can watch something on the t.v"

Tal-"ok"

I go to the kitchen and I go in the fridge.

I get some pizza and I heat it up.

I give Tal the plate.

Tal-"Thanks."

I hop over the couch and sit next to him.

Tal-"So how have you been doing since well..."

Me-"Good, Its already been a month since he left. It feels like the way it was before when he had left."

Tal-"Are you seeing someone recently?"

Me-"Well.. what would you define seeing someone?"

I was not obviously gonna talk about what happened between me and Adi, it was just a kiss. Then we were in some sort of confusing state of being more than friends but not necessarily 'together together'.

Tal-"Like dating" he says eating his pizza,

Me-"No, I am not talking to anyone"

Tal-"Ok"

Me-"What about you?"

Tal shakes his head no.

Tal-"no"

Me-""Why were wondering?"

Tal's face changes.

Tal-"Just a convo starter."

I smile.

Me-"ok, I get it"

Tal-"Do you and Cam still text eachother?"

Me-"No, last time I talked to him was a couple of days after he left. He is taking his time to get used to moving."

Tal-"Ok"
