Chapter 8- I feel Incomplete

  I see in the corner of my eye someone sit next to me. 

I can't help to think to myself. I know me and Cameron could have worked things out. I love him so much. I don't want the same thing happening again... One of us or both of us end up getting hurt. So I let him go. Its one of the hardest things I have ever done.

I look over and it was Tal?!?!

Tal-" Hey uh Bailey?"

I look over. Why was Tal here? When did Tal come to the party?

Me-" Tal?"

Great now I have to deal with Tal's being snarley to me and teasing me.

Tal-" Why are you at this party..."

I am already going through a tough night from hiding from my parents where I really am, Letting go of an old friend.

Me-" Cut the bullshit act Tal. Come on say the rude comments about me and jokes. Go ahead no one is stopping you. Adi is over there. Go ahead"

Tal's face went down.

Tal-" I am not here for..."

Me-" Then what are you here for?"

Tal-" Is that what you really think of me?"

I look t him and raise my eyebrow.

Tal-" Oh... I saw you get pretty heated with that guy. Everything ok?"

Me-" Yeah perfect. I made one of the many hard choices in my life. Hopefully I will just forget about it."

Tal-" Well.. if you need a friend to talk to..."

I scoff.

Me-" Yeah I would call you a friend...Nice joke you are so funny..."

Tal looked down then back up at me.

Tal-" Fine then. Why did you you not let Adi beat me up. You stopped him. I bet you would have loved to see that. So why not?"

I look down. 

Me-" It would not be worth it in the long run. Plus I want to punch you myself"

Tal laughs.

Tal-"Also what hard choice did you make with that guy? Like a relationship?"

Me-" Why do you care anyway? Its not your problem..."

Tal-" What if out of the kindness of my heart I want to know?"

I scoff at him.

Me-" Thats Cameron. An old friend. "

Tal-" uh he looks like a douche."

I can't believe he has the nerve to say that about my friend.I normally am able to contain myself around Tal. I take a deep breathe.

But the anger keeps building up.I get up.

Me-" Bye Tal."

Tal-" Why  you leaving?"

Me-"I swear Tal you never say anything about Cam. Say whatever rude snarky insult to me but" I lower my voice. " Don't say things like that about the people I love. Its the only thing I ask"

Tal looked at me speechless.

I walk away.

I walk to Adi.

Adi looks at me.

Adi-" Hey bailey.. yo were did Cam go?"

Me-" I don't know."
