Chapter 26- The Way You Feel

That's when I realized something...

 I think thats what I want.

Like when you look at Jojo and Sienna. Their eyes light up when they see eachother.

Jojo and her are entriced by looking at eachother. They make eachother happy.

I want that with someone. But do I have that with Cam?

I shake my head. Uh nevermind...

I walk and sit back at my seat. Tal looked at me.

Tal-" Oh hey Bailey."

Me-" Hey"

Tal-" So what university are you going to after you graduate?"

Me-" Uh I got into ucla, UCSD, and a few more."

Tal-" So what do you wanna be?"

Me-" I have no idea."

Tal-" What about a lawyer or doctor?"

Me-" Those are my only two choices."

I look down.

Tal-" Oh come on. You can be anything. Your grades will bring you anywhere you want."

Me-" Theres alot of pressure in my family if you can't tell."

Tal-" Yeah there is. Isn't there."

Me-" I don't know what I wanna do with my life."

Tal-" You'll figure it out."

Me-" we've talked about this before. Why bring it up?"

Tal-" Just wondering."

I look down.

Kiara rings her knife on her plate.

Everyone stops talking.

Kiara-" Lets make a toast."

Everyone puts up their glasses.

Kiara-" May this be a toast to friendship, to love and to our happiness. May I just say look around this table. Look at you beautiful people. May all of us take a second of how lucky we are to have found lifetime friends to share our worst and best moments with."

We all laugh and toast.

I look at Adi and smile.

Tal-" Great toast Kiara!"

Everyone applauds her.

Nick-" Cheers."

Everyone smiles at one another.

Then a song comes on. It was a very nice slow dance song.

Everyone grabs a partner and begins to dance.

The partners dancing were Adi and Emily, Cenna and Kiara, Sienna and Jojo, Then I was alone.

The other guys including Nick, Anthony and Michael went outside to the seating area.

I was watching everyone else.

Emily and Adi were dancing so gracefully. I think Emily will end up with Adi tbh. They are perfect for one another.

I feel a hand on my shoulder.

I turn.

Tal-" May I have a dance."

Tal puts out his hand.

I grab it,

We walk to the dance floor.

I put my arms around his neck and he grabs my waist. But this time. He pulled me close.

I felt myself turn red.

He smiled at me and I kind of smiled.

Tal-" Are you blushing?" He says laughing.

I roll my eyes at him.

I put my head on Tals shoulder.

We are close to one another.

I kind of see to the side of me Emily look at me.

Her eyes turn wide.

I continue dancing with Tal. Slowly but surely our friends go sit back at the table.

Soon on the dance floor everyone in our friend group wit back at the table

It was me and Tal.

Me-" Tal everyone is sitting."

Tal-" They are?"

Me-" Wanna stop dancing?"

Tal-" Do you?"

I giggle slightly.

Me-" Theres food."

Tal-" Imma get there first."

We stop dancing and Tal and me rush to the table.

We eat and the guys all go outside to the patio seating area.

Its just me and the girls inside now.

Emily-" Are you and Tal a thing?"

Me-" What? Are you joking noooo. He is just a  friend." I say in disbelief.

Emily-" I saw the way you were dancing together. So friends?"

I nod.

Me-" friends."

Emily-"You know what I will make a bet with you."

Me-" Whats the bet?"

Emily-" You will end up with Tal."

Me-" Uh really. Then I bet you and Adi will date eachother."

Emily looks at me slightly embarrased.

Emily-" Deal. Dinner at Chipotle"

I knew that I would never date Tal so I agree.

Me-" Deal"

We laugh.

Sienna-" Man I want chipotle now."

I start crying laughing.

Kiara-" Sienna is turning into a mood."

Me-" So true tho"

Man this dinner was great in the end.
