~Sam~
I woke up and saw Ava still asleep on the couch across from me. I felt so much happier that I knew she wasn't leaving. The tv was still on and this weird cartoon thing was playing. I heard a knock at the door.
I opened it up to reveal one of Emily's friends. It was one of the popular bitches. "Hey is Gemma here?" she said not looking up from her phone.
I scoffed "Her name is Emily" and I headed towards the stairs "I'll go get her." I jogged up the stairs and opened up Emily's door to see her leaning out of her window talking to a boy in the next house. I laughed at the coincidence. I remembered the first time I saw Ava. She was on her phone and I was staring at her like a creep. Emily is on the other side of the house so I suppose she was talking to the neighbors on the other side.
"Well I have to go, my friend is here" she said to the blonde haired boy, closing her window.
We walked down the stairs and entered the kitchen to see the girl and Ava laughing and drinking tea. "Oh hey Emily" the girl put down her mug and walked over to us "Sam's girlfriend is hilarious!"
"Oh yeah she's got quite the personality. Well Sasha we should get going" Emily grabbed her purse and skateboard. When did she learn to ride?
They walked out of the house and Sasha hopped on her bike and Emily got on the skateboard. They rode off, going to the mall I assumed.
"That Sasha girl seems like a total bitch" Ava remarked wrinkling her nose.
"Yeah she called Emily, Gemma. I don't even think she knows who she's hanging out with to be honest" I chuckled, "But anyways, guess what I saw Emily doing up in her room?"
"Breeding chickens?"
"Close but she was talking to the boy in the house over from her window. Just like us. Do you know anything about the house on the other side of us?" I asked her.
"Yeah I think so. A couple, three year old twin girls, and a fourteen year old boy live there, I'm assuming the one she was talking with. The boy used dog sit when we went out of town. His name is Lucas I believe" she said thinking.
"Is he nice?" I said, concerned for my little sister.
"He's a total sweetheart, I think he can be trusted."
"Good because 'if he breaks her heart I break his leg' right?" I said mimicking Darren.
