~Sam~
Sunlight shone through my eyes as I pushed the covers off of me. It was 4:58. Why was the sun up so early? I got up out of bed and sat at my window. Ava was sitting on her floor facing away from me. Her window was opened up half of the way. My hands pushed the window up and I called Ava's name.
"Good morning neighbor." I called. She turned around and smiled.
"Hello." she put her phone down and leaned out the window. "So the festival is today from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm. It's within biking distance so I could be over with my bike at 11:00 later today."
"Yeah that sounds great!" I said smiling.
"Ava! Time for class!" a guys voice said.
"Ugh one minute Darren!" she screamed into her house "my brother and I don't really get along so my mom's making us take this bonding class together. It ends at around 10:40 so I'll be back by then. I can't wait!" she waved and slid her window back into its frame. She disappeared into the hallway.
"I love you" I whispered and then cursed at myself for being creepy again.
The rest of my day consisted of Netflix. At 11:00, I heard the doorbell ring. My hand gripped onto the beam as I flew down the stairs. The cold knob turned in my hand as I opened the door to see Ava. The tips of her hair were curled. Her outfit was nicely matched. She looked really beautiful. We went outside and hopped on our bikes then took off to the festival. There were many different bands there. When the sun started to set, we headed over to this band called Arctic Monkeys. They were really good. We sat on the lawn together and listened.
"Ava?"
"Yeah?"
"Can I just do something insane?" I scratched my head and looked into her big eyes.
"Sure as long as it doesn't involve crystal meth." she said smiling.
Without another thought I kissed her right on the lips. It was nice and she kissed back. I pulled away and a smile formed on her.
"No crystal meth involved" I said grinning.
"So are we a couple now?" she asked, our faces still close.
"Yeah, I guess we are"
