~monday, the 24th of december~
"Happy Birthday!!!" Louis jolted up in shock, just to see Ally, Niall, and Amanda wearing birthday hats and bright smiles. Louis sighed right as Ally popped a party popper onto his head.
"Thanks," Louis sighed, but he appreciated the gesture.
"Come on! You're going with Zack and Nat to get out of here so we can set up for your party," Ally told him, and Louis sighed.
"Why can't Amanda take me out?" He sighed.
"Do you think I trust Niall, Ally, and Zachary to decorate this house for a party?" Amanda asked him, feigning outrage at the possibility of leaving them alone. Louis sighed because he knew he wasn't going to get her to budge.
A few minutes later he was leaving with Zack and Nat, but not before kissing Amanda goodbye. "Thank you, love," He whispered to her, kissing her cheek and then being dragged away by Zack.
As soon as Louis was gone, Amanda started taking things out of the fridge to start baking. Amanda immediately noticed the fifteen cans of whipped cream and turned to Ally and Niall, who were pretending to clean.
"Why are there all these cans of whipped cream?" Amanda demanded, and Ally and Niall just turned around, trying to look innocent.
"We bought them," Ally shrugged, "People like cream," She justified. Amanda sighed, she knew she shouldn't have let Niall and Ally go off on their own.
"Alright, can you guys just... make some cookies and the cake without screwing it up?" Amanda asked them. Niall nodded, throwing an arm around Ally's shoulders.
"Yup!" Ally agreed, already going to get the ingredients for cookies.
Amanda had a lot of stress riding on this party, especially since she knows now that Louis' never had a birthday party. She's a bit mad that the boys never threw him anything, but she'll yell at them for that when they get back to New York.
Thankfully the house was extravagantly decorated for Christmas, and red was Louis' favorite color, so Amanda only went around to add red streamers and balloons to the decorations. Everything was going to be perfect, Amanda needed it to be that way. She made sure every part of the house was perfect and called every one of her neighbours to come to the party later. Her and Ally called all their old friends from Boston and they all agreed to come, surprisingly, even though it was so last minute.
"It's 'cause you finally have a boyfriend you actually love, and people are shocked," Ally tells her, and Amanda shrugs.
"True," She says, and Ally laughs at her. Ally and Amanda began decorating the cake as Niall just watched, because they didn't need him ruining it with his giant hands. They carefully drew Louis' tattoos onto the sides of cake.
"He's really the happiest he's ever been," Niall told her, hugging Ally from behind. Amanda smiled to herself. Niall just grinned, "And this is the nicest thing a girl's ever done for him, for sure,"
"Well he's stuck with me forever, so I don't have much competition," Amanda jokes, and Ally laughs. "You know, we might move in together," Amanda tells them, smirking at Ally. Ally throws her icing bag down, in dramatic outrage.
"No! I can't live alone! I've never lived alone, Amanda!" Ally cried out, and Amanda just laughed. "No, stop, you don't understand. Remember when you had to visit family in Philly and didn't go, and I didn't leave the apartment for an entire week. A whole week!" Ally said, and Amanda definitely remembered. The apartment was spotless and Ally hadn't spoken to any other human for seven days, it wasn't healthy. Amanda gave Niall a look.
