they remained like that, two fools glancing and smiling at each other whenever they had the chance. mina never entertained anyone who wanted a casual conversation, be it a student or a co-instructor. only when it's about the dance lessons of her students. people started avoiding her even more because of her cold exterior. but it was a good thing for mina, especially to jeongyeon, and at the same time, it was harder for her to find chances to talk to her inside the campus. it was hard not to. jeongyeon just loves the girl so much, she wanted to be near her, to hold her, to hug her, but there's still a wall between them, and mina is the only one who can break it.

one time, on a rainy thursday morning, jeongyeon went to school early and saw mina sharing an umbrella with a slightly familiar guy, and they were just entering the school gates. they were talking for a while, and then they parted ways in front of the gates as one of the guards halted the guy, maybe an outsider from another school. jeongyeon was incredibly in a very bad mood. she knew she shouldn't be, but she couldn't help it.

she ignored the feeling when she realized mina doesn't have her own umbrella now. she ran towards the girl and gently inched herself closer to mina. their smiles were present, and jeongyeon's mood had instantly brighten up because of it. "hi." mina greeted, along with her arms automatically clinging onto jeongyeon's.

the taller was alarmed, eyes shocked roaming around. "h-hey-- people might see you--" she was stopped as mina hushed her.

"shh. no one's around anyway." mina said softly. "let me hold you for a while, i'm cold." she continued, slightly shivering.

jeongyeon sighed in relief, curving one side of her lips as she softly stare at the slightly smaller figure of mina. she gently removed her arm from mina's grasp, wrapping it around the girl's shoulders, pulling her closer into her. mina turned her head up to smile at jeongyeon, it's been a while since she felt this kind of warmth inside the arms of someone, and she's thankful for it.//
