i followed her after a while and we ended up in our backyard beside the little pool we have. "still upset?" i asked as i sit beside her by the pool, dumping my bare feet on the slightly cold water.
she didn't answer.
"you know, it's a little hard for me to tell my family about you," i started, "about us."
i leaned back and placed my hands against the ground behind me for support, gazing at the almost visible stars up high. "it's hard as much as it was hard for you to tell you mother what you really want to do." i paused, sighing. "you know, it's my first time having a girlfriend." i glanced at her teasingly, and she was looking at me too.
"i'm not upset, jeongyeon." she finally spoke. "i'm just a little worried." she sighed this time.
i frowned a little, "about what?" i asked her.
sighing then again, she looked up and glanced at the now black sky covered with light clouds. "no, don't mind it," she turned her head to look at me, showing me her usual smile. "it's no big deal." she said.
it was times like this, i get a little worried about her. she would try tell me things but always ends up shrugging it all off like she's hiding something. and i know everytime she does this, there really is something bothering her.
"come here." i softly said as i pulled her to me for a hug, with which she would hug tighter and almost never want to let go.//
