the night came, and we had finished moving everything and putting them into places. mina went inside my apartment room to sleep for she was dead tired, saying she liked my bedsheets better than hers.
for the second time around, i was left with jimin. i don't know how we ended up drinking beers on the living room talking about stuffs.
mina mentioned how she was friends with this guy since they were children, and that he's a good guy. and as our conversation goes by, i'm getting more and more comfortable with him.
he's a student in an arts school in seoul, a famous one, and he's in the same field as mina, ballet and contemporary dances.
after some time, i noticed how our conversations became all about mina. he told me things about her, everything he knows, everything i wanted to know, and things i didn't expect to know. it was a very helpful conversation not until we were on our 4th can of beer and things got a little serious when i peaked inside his eyes.
"you love her, don't you?" i ask him after a long period of silence.
he stopped drinking and put down his beer. "loved." he said in a low voice, whilst his head slowly dropping.
"loved?" i asked confused. but by looking at him, i could tell this isn't something we should be talking about.
"shit happens, you know." i heard him slightly whisper in a low tone. "i envy you sometimes, but thinking about it, we're actually on the same boat." he spoke once again as he dropped his empty can of beer, standing up.
"no, i don't think so." i protest. i don't usually get intimidated by this kind of conversation but something about him really bothers me.
a little laugh can be heard as he walks out of my apartment.
"yeah, right." he scoffed, a little drunk. "i might sleep next door, and then i'll leave by dawn." he assured before i could even worry about how he'll drive himself home.
i think i need to sleep now.//
