the next day was somewhat different from yesterday, but there's still a lingering feeling inside jeongyeon that she couldn't explain.
she woke up just before the rise of the sun, and she's not surprised mina wasn't there anymore. she starts asking herself if she was just dreaming; but the feeling was too real, and the warmth in her lips from mina's kiss was still there.
she rose, stood up and went outside of vernon's house quietly, careful not to wake up the others. there she watched the sunrise, and she noticed not too far from her was vernon holding a cup of coffee in his right hand, watching the same sun with her.
"goodmorning." jeongyeon smiled, her voice raspy from the excessive partying and drinking last night.
vernon just smiled and walked closer to jeongyeon, handing his coffee to her for a sip, which jeongyeon accepted. "i was right." vernon stated, in his husky morning voice too.
jeongyeon hummed whilst drinking vernon's coffee.
"you two are so into each other. and it shows so much." vernon calmly said, making jeongyeon cough lightly. "don't even argue with me, i saw what happened." he added.
though embarassed, jeongyeon didn't say anything and just handed back the blonde guy's coffee.
"i'm happy for you, my friend." vernon softly said with a smile before lightly hugging jeongyeon.
"thank you." the latter whispered.//
