"No I turned lesbian and am dating girls now"

I looked for the fifth time in the mirror, checking all of my angles, making sure I was perfect for tonight.

"Are you ready already? You've been in there for half an hour" Aaliyah yelled from outside while slamming on the bathroom door. I huffed in annoyance and stepped outside.

"You may enter your majesty" I said sarcastically and walked up to my room. I drenched myself in cologne and buttoned up my shirt.

Who are you trying to impress Shawn?

My mum stepped into my room and I gave her a "would you mind knocking" look. She rolled her eyes and sat on my bed. "You look great honey. I'm so proud of you" she said smiling.

"It's just a party mum" I replied while looking for my phone.

"Shawn sweety, you haven't been to a party for over a year. Last time you attended one was when Cameron was still here" she said.

I finally found my phone and checked the time.

7:50pm

Shit

I quickly grabbed my coat and ran outside. I heard my mum yelling goodbye and I waved back. I quickly got in my Jeep and drove to Elle's house.

As soon as I heard the doorbell ring, I grabbed my blue jacket and went downstairs.

"I'm going out tonight" I told Lei.

"It's a school night Elle. No way" she said standing up and walking over to me.

"I'm going out on a date actually" I said.

Her eyes widened. This woman wasn't getting enough sleep due to work I think.

"With a boy?" She asked.

"No I turned lesbian and I'm going out with girls now" I said. She gave me a confused look.

I opened the door and noticed Shawn sitting in his jeep. I shook my head and walked over to his car.

As soon as he noticed me, he quickly got out of his car.

"Hi" he muttered.

Gosh this kid's shy

"Hi" I replied as I got into the car.

His car was drenched from the scent of what I assumed was his cologne.

I noticed his palms were sweaty and his face was pale. His hair was perfectly combed despite a few curls who stuck out.

He is actually more handsome than I thought

"Why are you so nervous?" I asked looking over to him and cracking a smile, hoping to ease the tension.

He looked at me and gave me a shy smile.

"Haven't been out in a while" he replied shortly while turning the car ignition.

I actually feel bad for him

He must feel so lonely

I can't break his heart

I should have never agreed to this
