"Calm down Shawnito"

All I could feel was pain rushing throughout my right foot. Shawn was heads on focused on the road and speeding as fast as he could, firstly so that we don't arrive late for school and secondly because we had to go to the nurse's office because my foot was hurting like a bitch.

"Are you alright?" Shawn nervously asked while keeping his eyes on the roads. His jaw was clenched from being tense and it looked really hot.

"It hurts but it'll get better"I said having no idea what type of injury I had.

After a few minutes we finally arrived at school.

Shawn immediately came over to me and helped me get out of the car. He guided my arms to wrap around his neck as he held me from my waist.

We made our way down to the school corridors and noticed Alex sitting alone near the ladies' restroom.

"Alex" I yelled as she instantly looked up and locked her eyes with us. Her face turned into a worried look. She quickly stood up and made her way towards us.

"Oh my, what happened?"she asked clueless.

"Long-story short, I fell and probably sprained my foot or something" I muttered. "Take her to the nurse's" Alex suggested.

Shawn nodded in agreement. Alex moved over to my side while she grabbed my waist and helped Shawn get me to the nurse's.

We eventually got there and the nurse examined my leg. Unfortunately she told Shawn and Alex to head to their classes.

I ended up with a bandage around my foot but the nurse informed me that it was only severely bruised and that it would heal in a few days. On the bright side I was excused from my physical training. I simply loathed sports.

The bell finally rang and it was lunch time. Alex and I exited the classroom together and made I way to our usual meeting place to meet up with Shawn.

Eventually we got there and I was instantly greeted by a pair of hazel worried eyes.

"Elle- how are you- what happened to your leg?" Shawn muttered nervously as he made his way towards us.

"Calm down Shawnito"I said giggling as I stumbled to reach my best friend.

"It's nothing severe really. I just have an excuse to get out of doing sports"I said with a toothy smile.

Shawn huffed. "Lucky you-I mean it's bad that you hurt your leg but it get's you out of physical training, which we have today" he mumbled.

I nodded as we all sat down and started to gobble up our lunch. "Yepp, I'll probably have nothing to do so, I'll just stare at you miserably attempting to do a push up." I said chuckling while Alex snorted.

"Jokes on you cause I know how to do a push up" Shawn replied.

"We'll see Mendes" I said winking at him. He gave me a nasty look. "Okay, I see what you're doing. I'm gonna prove you that I can do a push up and once I do you're gonna owe me an ice cream date"he said proudly.

"Deal's on Mendes" I said smirking at him.

"It's not fair, I want to see this happening" Alex said which made all three of us burst into laughter.
