I wake up to find Kosmo curled up on the end of the bed. I stretch and his head immediately shoots up. He barks and I grin.
"Hi buddy."
I get out of bed and walk over to him.
"How are you?"
He licks my hand and I laugh.
"Okay."
I pat his head before turning and walking over to the balcony. I spot a familiar carriage outside.
"Who?"
Suddenly it clicks and I turn back towards Kosmo.
"Pidge and Hunk are here!"
He tilts his head as I race back into the room.
"Why didn't Lance wake me up?!"

I run down the stairs with Kosmo bounding ahead of me. He stops to wait for me before continuing. We make it to the throne room to find the doors open. I spot them quickly and walk over and smack Lance over the back of the head. He yelps and turns as Pidge and Hunk laugh.
"What was that for?!"
"Because you didn't wake me up."
He rolls his eyes and grumbles something under his breath. I turn and am almost toppled by Pidge as she hugs me.
"Nice to see you again Keithy boy."
"You too Pidgeon."
She pulls back and shoots me a grin.
"We were just talking about Hunk's new girlfriend."
"Ah."
I look at Hunk to find him blushing.
"She's perfect for him. They're a pair of matching cinnamon rolls."
"Too bad she couldn't come."
"Maybe another time."
Hunk sighs.
"I'm afraid if I bring her you'll scare her."
"We would never."
"Mhm."
He replies
"Anyways, what are we going to do today?"
"Not sure. Allura said we have another free day today. Tomorrow is Christmas eve so we'll have the tree lighting then. The next day would be Christmas so... What do you guys want to do?"
"You guys should go have some bro time together. I need to ask Keith for some input."
"About what?"
"That's none of your business."
She sticks her tounge out at Lance and he does it back.
"Also, we're going out into town so... don't go out. Stay here and make cookies or something."
"Wow, thanks Pidge."
She turns and walks away.
"No problem. Let's go Keith."
I shoot Lance a sympathetic look before following after her.
