As we're walking back someone calls out to me.
"Prince Keith!"
We turn and I recognize the woman immediately. She stops in front of us and her eyes are drawn to Kosmo.
"Is this him?"
She asks; her eyes flicking up to me.
"Yeah."
She smiles and kneels down in front of him.
"You are beautiful. Much darker colors than Joy."
"Um, who the fuck is that?"
Pidge asks quietly.
"She works at a store that sells space wolf stuff. She has one named Joy."
Pidge nods as we watch her interact with Kosmo. Finally she stands.
"He's amazing. I can tell how loyal he is."
"Thanks."
She nods.
"I'll bring Joy to the tree lighting. I hope to see you both there."
"We will."
She waves goodbye and walks off.
"Do I not exist?"
Pidge says beside me.
"She didn't even acknowledge me."
"Tough love."
I reply while walking away.
"Hey!"
Pidge yells behind me.
"Don't walk away from me!"
