"Hey, can I come in?"
"Is it just you?"
"Yeah."
There's a sigh and shuffling as the door opens.
"Come in."
I follow her into the room and she motions to the bed.
"Did my brother and sister send you here?"
"No actually, I wanted to come. I think I know what's on your mind."
She looks over at me with wide eyes before slouching on her bed.
"You do?"
She says quietly.
"I think so. Is it a boy?"
She laughs and sits up.
"When is it not?"
"So it is?"
She looks off to the side and nods.
"Yeah..."
"What's his name?"
"Grayden."
"He sounds cute. What's he look like?"
She smiles and looks over at me.
"He has this really wavy black hair and he has two different eye colors. His left eye is a silvery blue and his right one is a golden yellow."
She watches for my reaction as she explains.
"I- I know what he is. But he's not like them. It wasn't his decision."
"Does he have the tattoo on his arm?"
She nods.
"Yeah..."
"So, you've been sneaking off to see him?"
She nods again.
"Will I get in trouble because he's one of the Denzen?"
"No. Just don't tell Allura."
She smiles.
"Thanks."
"I do need to meet him though. As your brother in law it's kind of my duty."
She laughs and stands up.
"We can go out after my lesson."
"It's a plan."
(Authors Note: You might be wondering who the Denzen are. They're a type of people who kill for a living. Kind of like assassins. They're taught from a young age how to fight and kill. When they're around 14 they're taken out to test their skills. That's how they get a tattoo. It signifies who they are along with the golden eye they're born with. That's pretty much the basics. They're not very nice people.)
