"[F/n], there it is." Chaz pointed to the glowing being that pawed the forest floor.

[F/n] gulped when she observed that the Marcel was staring at her. "What if I can't deny its hypnotism?" She whispered to him in doubt.

He patted her shoulder encouragingly and flashed a believing smile. "You can do it. I believe in you." Pushing her forward, Chaz stepped back and watched the scene unfold.

Immediately, her eyes glazed over once she concentrated on the Marcel. In awe at its radiance, she followed. Her purpose to resist was weakened by its force.

'I'm getting tired of you, [F/n]. Why do you keep distancing yourself from me?' It spoke to her, upset.

Her brain processed Marcel's words properly. Usually, she can't respond back, but with the desperate need to collect the Marcel to complete the requirements, her willpower broke the enchantment. 'I'm getting tired of you too,' she voiced.

Marcel stopped leading her away from Chaz and turned its featureless head to her, its tail swinging wildly back and forth. 'Oh? How surprising that you can speak back to me.'

[F/n] stopped as well, her eyes returning to its natural hue. She struggled to respond because of its power that suppressed her brain, but she knew that her mind as a human was stronger than anything.

'Come on, let's go see your mother,' it convinced, proceeding to walk away.

Her foot took a step forward, but she halted there as her [e/c] orbs focused on the Marcel. "No, you come with me," she spoke, which scared the Marcel as it sprung in the air. "Now that I've denied your power, I own you."

If it had eyes, Marcel would have gawked at her. Instead, it approached her and obediently bowed its head to her feet. 'Congratulations, your mind fought bravely against my enchantment,' it said, chuckling. 'For that, my loyalty and power are yours until the day that you die. If you ever need my assistance, I will be around.' Marcel raised its head before running away.

[F/n]'s heart skipped a beat as her jaw hung open in shock, her eyes following the Marcel as it disappeared like a bubble.

"Astounding!" Chaz praised excitedly, clapping his hands and approaching her with an ecstatic countenance.

Peering over her shoulder, she grinned. "I did it!" A sense of accomplished satisfaction fueled her energy.

Chaz grinned and spread his arms to embrace her.

Willingly, she ran up to him and practically threw herself on Chaz, causing them to almost fall. "Oh my gosh, I can't believe it Chaz, I did it! I did it!" Unable to contain her emotions, she hugged him tightly and laughed. "Yes! We have the sand and the Marcel, now let's move on!"

"Let's do!" Chaz shared her enthusiasm and felt just as delighted to have helped her in some way. His heart warmed as she began to be chatty, a content smile wearing his lips as he watched her beam like a star.

"Where should we go now?" She inquired, still smiling broadly.

When struck by the question, Chaz pouted and sighed. "You should go back to the Palace."

Her face fell at his words and her shoulders slumped over. "Ade's gonna be so angry with me," she voiced out, worried about it. Ade didn't really come off as the type who gets angry easily, but when he did, it was alarming.
