Chaz gazed at her patiently, waiting for her response.

“I’ll stay,” [F/n] spoke, looking hesitant.

Those two words sent a vibrant of emotion in him, a good one; however, he didn’t want to think she was staying because of him. It could be other reasons; Ade perhaps.

Brow slightly creased, he swallowed the unpleasant lump in his throat. “Do you know what you’re getting into?” He queried with a sad smile as he took a lock of her hair, playing with it. “The Country is going under major changes from within the government. It will not be the same again. And if you stay, I won’t offer you escape anymore.” It was hard for him to be too nice, especially when he could just take her word for it and start a new life with her.

After much thought, [F/n] inhaled intensely, keeping her emotions down. “Don’t think I’ll stay because of you,” she emphasized purposely to make her meaning clear.

“I know.” So gentle was his voice that it pained him to break his smile. If it was her choice to stay, then he will act accordingly. Tucking her hair behind her ear, his cold finger brushed the lobe of it and made her shiver. He smiled alluringly at her, to ease her discomfort, but his very expression made her uneasy.

His left hand crept up to her neck, just below her ear, and stayed there, his thumb caressing her jaw. She raised her bound hands to oppose his touch, but he held them down as he diminished the gap between them. Dark eyes poured intense attention into hers, pushing her to look away. In a final moment, Chaz returned the connection of their gaze, the twinkle in his eyes plain of his feelings for her, and leaned in for a kiss.

The simple contact of his lips to hers drove his senses wild. All the hairs at the back of his head stood on edge, his skin prickling in tension as his body generated heat. He could feel her apprehension towards the gesture, yet he pressured her to be comfortable. Lips to lips, he pressed himself closer to her frame, feeling the curve of her chest against his solid one.

Feelings of excitement and thrill stabbed his skin; what felt like little needles on the soles of his feet made him fidgety. Chaz urged movement to the kiss, moving his lips softly against hers to spark a momentum. His hand held her face more securely, his force harsher, and his advances rougher.

[F/n] felt the need to breathe, but he was still on her. Refusing his advances, she pushed against him but he‘s still attached, leaving no space for her to move her limbs. As much as she didn’t want to engage in the kiss, it impelled her body to respond, but her mind was ringing the bells to flee.

When he bit down on her bottom lip to deepen the kiss, she jerked her head to the side ending it. It left her gasping for air and shaking, her head lowered.

Chaz covered his lips with his hand, panting. With a hungry glint in his eyes, he hooked a finger under her chin and raised her glare in his eyes. “I hold back all the bad things that will corrupt you, [F/n],” he spoke with a sigh, “but how can I keep myself away from you when I’m the bad one?” Looking at her in the eyes, he was too close for comfort as the tip of his nose touched hers.

As if to avoid seeing the Devil, she shut her vision and attached herself to the wall.

If he was in control, and he can be, he’d have unleashed the beast upon her, but he couldn’t. She had no fault would make him guilty. If she was more of a rebel, he’d have the enjoyment taming her.
