"Chase! Chase!" Teagan and Reagan run up to me.
"What's up guys?" I ask.
"Can you play in the pool with us?" Reagan asks.
"Sure!" I tell her.
Alex and Jenny come to the front door and tell me to come inside.
"Thank you so much for watching them," Jenny gushes.
"It's no problem," I wave it off.
"The little ones are all awake. Asher's asleep in his own room and Jace is probably asleep in the turret," Alex says. "Shouldn't be too much trouble. We'll be back around 5 in the afternoon. All three are allowed to play in the pool."
They tell me to order pizza for lunch and where they put the money for it.
"Mommy!" Harper squeals running right into my leg.
I pick him up and balance him on my hip.
"Girls, don't drive her crazy, got it?" Jenny asks the twins.
"Yes, Mom," Teagan and Reagan say.
"Bye, Harper," Jenny waves.
"Bye," Harper waves back.
Once Jenny and Alex are gone, I shut the front door and turn to the kids.
"Alrighty, what's first?" I ask.
"POOL TIME!" Reagan and Teagan both say.
I get the three of them in swimsuits and slathered in sunscreen and then realize that I didn't bring mine, but Asher has the black and green one with him still.
"I know you're both very excited to go to the pool, but I need you to sit tight for 2 minutes," I tell the twins, backing out of their bedroom. "Can you do that for me?"
"Yes, Chase," They say.
"Thanks, girls."
I rush into Asher's room with Harper in my arms. As we enter, Asher lifts his head up from the pillow looking like the cutest thing on this planet. He's shirtless so his tattoos peek out from under the blanket.
His blonde hair is messy and he's squinting with a puzzled expression on his face.
"Morning, babe," I greet him.
"Morning?" He says, his voice raspy.
"Do you still have that swimsuit with you?"
"Yeah, second drawer," he tells me.
"Thanks. Can you watch Harp for a second?"
He drops his head back onto the pillow. "Sure."
I put Harper down on the bed and grab the swimsuit before rushing into the bathroom to change. I fold my clothes and bring them out with myself.
Asher's asleep again, but he opens his eyes when Harper hugs him.
"You can leave them on the chair," Asher tells me with a sleepy smile.
I set the clothes down. "Come on, Harp."
Harper climbs over Asher, hitting his dad in the face with his tiny butt.
"Thanks, Harp," Asher says sarcastically, rolling over to sleep on his other side.
I kiss my boyfriend's forehead and bring Harper out of the room.
"Guys, let's go," I say, peeking into the twin's bedroom.
Teagan and Reagan look up from some picture book and run down the stairs with Harper and I following behind them.
