"Babe! Are you done yet?" Asher asks, knocking on the door.

"Almost!" I call back, checking to make sure I didn't miss anything when I shaved.

Perfect.

I rinse off and then get out of the shower, wrapping a towel around my body.

And of course, I forgot my clothes.

I open the bathroom door and see Asher sitting on my bed staring at his phone.

I have a towel on so grabbing clothes wouldn't be too weird.

"Hey, babe," He greets me, looking up.

"Hey," I say back and step out of the doorway so I can get to my closet.

Suddenly, my towel drops at the same time as Asher's jaw.

We're both frozen as his eyes travel up and down my body. They zero in on the spot under my breasts and I snap out of it.

"I'm so sorry," I cry, grabbing my towel and running back into the bathroom.

I stay in there for a bit before Asher knocks on the door.

"Can I come in?" He asks.

I take a deep breath and open the door with the towel wrapped around me.

"I got you underwear," He says, tucking a loose strand of my hair behind my ear.

"My hero," I gush.

Asher grins as I close the door and put on the bra and panties.

"Okay, you can come in," I tell him.

He walks in and hugs me from behind, resting his hands on my pudgy stomach.

I used to be super embarrassed about my body and the fat, but lately I've been feeling more comfortable. I was looking at myself the night that Asher and I went on my dream date and I had the realization that my body's not bad. I have an average body with thicker thighs and smaller boobs. My stomach isn't completely flat but I don't look pregnant. I don't love my body, but I don't hate it anymore so I guess that's a start.

"Did you really miss me so much that you went and got a tattoo?" Asher asks.

"No, you idiot. I was drunk as hell. And when I woke up that spot hurt so bad, but I couldn't figure it out until later that night. I opened the bandage a few days before you came back and well..."

Asher looks in the mirror and gently traces his name. "Who knows, maybe it'll be practical in the future."

Remain calm, Chase. Don't flip out.

"Maybe I should get a sleeve so I can twin with you," I say with a laugh.

"Maybe you should. You'd look pretty badass with like a skull, a lion, and a naked woman."

"Shut up, flower boy."

He smiles, showing off his dimples.

"Better get ready before your mom starts yelling," He tells me, kissing my shoulder.

"Can you pick an outfit?" I ask, leaning back against his chest. "I have no clue what I'm supposed to wear."

"I think you look pretty hot right now."

I flip him off with a smile.

"I think you always look hot," I tell him, slipping out of his grasp.

"Really? I feel so loved," He says with a laugh.

Yeah, because I love you.

"Let's get those clothes," I remind him.
