"Chase!" One my aunts calls me over.
I walk to her and greet her.
"Congrats!" She says, pinching my cheeks.
"Thank you," I reply, smiling at her.
I get called over by someone else so I excuse myself and head in that direction.
Suddenly, I get whisked away and out of the room. Once I'm on my feet, I turn and see Asher behind me.
"Dude, really?" I ask.
He nods. "Really, bro."
"Where are the kids?"
"Harper's with Aspen. Hayden's with Carter."
"Good. Now, how may I help you?"
"A kiss would be great."
I smile as I wrap my arm around his neck. "You know that this is the fifth time in the past hour that we've done this."
He pulls me closer. "Really? I didn't notice."
"Pay attention then because you won't be having number six until," I glance at his watch, "9:30."
Asher's jaw drops. "Two hours?"
"Want to make it three?"
"But why?" He whines.
"Because we're supposed to be talking to people. That's basically what the reception is."
"But when does the married couple get their own time?" He pouts.
"On their honeymoon and," I trace his jaw with my finger,"for the rest of their lives."
His smile returns. "Just kiss me."
And I do.
"Chase!" I hear Jess call.
I pull back from my husband. "We need to go back."
"Two more minutes?" He asks with a slight pout.
"No more kisses though," I remind him as he hugs me.
He murmurs agreement while slightly swaying.
"Asher!" Someone else calls. "Chase?"
Asher lets go of me. "I love you."
"I love you too," I tell him with a smile.
He presses his lips to my forehead and goes inside.
I fix my hair before going back inside.
"How was the make out session?" Aspen asks, bumping her shoulder with mine.
I look at her and smile. "Amazing." I see my mother-in-law. "I'll be right back, Aspen."
She nods and I go in the direction that Jenny went.
Just as I'm about to reach her, I bump into a tall man.
I look up and see my favorite smiling face.
"Can't keep your hands off of me, baby?" He asks with a teasing smile.
I chuckle. "No, I just need to talk to your mom."
He glances behind him before looking back at me. "Oh. Go ahead."
I get on my tip toes and kiss him on the cheek.
"No more kisses, remember?" Asher reminds me with a growing smile.
"You already broke it," I tell him before walking past him to Jenny. I glance back and see Asher talking to my grandmother.
"Chase!" Jenny says, pulling me in for a hug. She steps back and holds me by the shoulders. "You look so beautiful, sweetheart. Asher is so lucky."
