Knock, knock!
„Mary, are you up? Can I come in?“-Marvin was at the door.
„Yes, come in, please.“-Mary put aside her notepad and closed it.
„Hey, did you rest?“-Marv asked walking in.
„No, I couldn't sleep again. I guess it'll take time for me to adjust living here.“-Mary smiled.
„Well, we've cleaned up the entire house so you can come down whenever you want. It looks like a house again.“-Marv laughed.
„That's nice to hear“-Mary laughed too.-„Is there something to eat maybe? I'm starving.“
„Yeah, there is plenty of food in kitchen. Let's go downstairs, I'm hungry, too.“-he said walking to the door. Mary followed him but she was uncomfortable a little about what will happen when she sees Aston again. Over the past few hours she thought about him and decided to treat him the same as the other guys. Just as a friend, nothing more. She doesn't need any complications in her life. Marvin and Mary walked in to the kitchen and found Aston sitting there staring at the fridge.
„It doesn't open like that.“-Marv teased him. Aston turned around smiling but when he saw Mary he got little more serious.
„Really? I didn't know. Thanks for sharing that information with me.“-Aston said sarcastically.
„So what do you wanna eat?“-Marvin looked at Mary.
„Ehm… Anything. I'm so hungry that I can't even think if I want something special. Just give me something to put in my stomach.“-Mary laughed and sat next to Aston.-„So did you do anything or did you let Marvin do all the cleaning up?“
Aston was nervous when she sat next to him.-„Of course I helped him. It was our party so we both had to clean up.“-he replied.
„Who knew?“-Mary said to herself.-„Marv, where is that food“-she looked at him.
„Here it is.“-Marv placed some leftovers from yesterday in the middle of table and they began to eat. Marvin and Aston told Mary all the funny stuff that happened last night. They were laughing when Mary's phone started to ring. She was confused when she saw Simon Cowell's name on the screen.
„Hello?“-she answered the phone.
„Hi, Mary. It's Simon Cowell. How are you?“-his tone was odd.
„I'm great, thanks. How are you?“-Mary replied.
„Glad to hear that you're good. I'm calling to ask you is it true that you'll be working with JLS?“-he asked.
„Yes, it's true.“-Mary took a deep breath because she what's going to happen now.
„Can you explain to me why are you working with them? When I asked you to work with Alexandra, the winner of X Factor, you said no, and I found out that you're working with the runner ups?“-Simon was angry.
„I don't have to explain anything to you. You know why I said no to you. I told I'm not your slave. I won't write one or two hits for her so that you can earn more money. I told you I wanted to work with someone I trust in, and I'm sorry but I've found those people. I believe in these guys, and so should you.“-Mary was angry now.
„I do but I wanted you to work with Alex. What do you want? More money?“-Simon began to plead.
„Don't offend me. I told you, I'm working with JLS now and that's all you need to know. Don't try to buy me. And before you say something you'll regret, bye!“-Mary said and hung up. Aston and Marvin looked at her in confusion. They never met a person who could do this to Simon. They began to laugh because they couldn't believe what just happened.
