It was about 5 pm and Aston was ready and outside his building waiting for boys. He dressed up early beacuse he couldn't allow himself to be late. The guys soon arrived and they were very excited.
„Don't you think we should warm up if the possible producer wants to hear us singing live?“-JB asked.
„I think you're right. He or she will probably want to hear us. So what do we sing?“-Oritse said.
„I think we should go with 'If I ever fall in love again'.“-Aston suggested.
„I agree“-Marvin said.-„So, let's start.“-Boys were singing on their way to hotel where they were supposed to meet Louis and the possible producer. They arrived a little bit early so they waited in the lobby. There were a lot of paparazzis outside so they thought there was some celebrity in the hotel. After 15 minutes Louis came down and he was very happy to see them.
„How are you, boys?“-he asked hugging them.
„We're fine, little excited. When are we meeting that mysterious person?“-Marvin asked.
„In a minute. That's why I came for you. Come on, let's go.“-Louis said and walked into the elevator.-„Are you coming or what?“-he laughed. Boys joined him with a confusion on their faces.
„I know you're very confused but you'll find out everything soon. Don't you worry, when I showed her your audition, she was very excited to meet you.“-Louis comforted them.
„So, it's a woman then? Who is she?“-Aston asked.
„You'll find out soon. Follow me.“-Louis said as he stepped into the hallway. They were walking through the hallway passing by many doors. When they got to the end, Louis stopped and turned around to guys.
„We're here. Just be yourselves and do your best.“-he smiled and walked into the room. The guys followed him looking into eachother trying to guess who's waiting for them. They walked in to the living room and saw a woman standing backwards to them.
„Darling, they are here.“-Louis turned around to boys.-„Guys, I want you to meet Mary.“- As he said that, she turned around and the guys couldn't believe their eyes. Especially Aston. The girl who was standing in front of them was the most beautiful girl he's ever seen. Ever since he heard her first song, he was fascinated. She had brown hair and beautiful, warm brown eyes. And her smile made him melt like he was made out of ice.
„I'm sure you know who she is.“-Louis continued and walked to her.-„These are the boys I was talking you about. They are Oritse, JB, Marvin and Aston“-he showed her at each one of them.-„Together, they are JLS.“-he smiled.
Mary looked at them and greeted them with a big smile.
„Louis has told me a lot about you. I've never heard anyone talking like that about a group. He conviced me to watch your audition and I have to say that I'm intrigued.“-she was still laughing.
„Well, I just told you the truth. But, you'll see it for yourself. Why don't we sit down and watch boys' live performances on X Factor?“- Louis suggested.
„I'd like you sing to me first, if that's ok.“-Mary said as she sat down on sofa.
„We'd love to sing for you.“-Aston said and cleared his troat. They were singing 'If I ever fall in love again' like they practiced in the car. During their performance Aston couldn't take his eyes of Mary. It seemed unreal to be standing in front of her and singing to her. He saw that she was looking back at him so he smiled. It made her smile, too. When they finished, Mary looked at Louis.
„You were right. There is something special about them.“-she whispered. The boys sat down and they all started to watch their performances. They tried to read Mary's face while she was watching every performance but they couldn't tell what she was thinking.She would always point out some good and some bad stuff. After watching all performances, she sat in silence. The guys were very nervous and stared at her without saying anything. Louis was the one to break the silence.
„So, what do you say? Are they worth a try?“
„Well…“
