Weeks passed by quickly and soon it was the day of Astons 22nd birthday. Since Mary left to NY he didn't have much contact with her. They tweeted sometimes or wrote few messages. He tried not to think much about her and he thought he was was getting over her. On the day of his birthday Marvin came to his room and jumped on his bed.
„Heeeeeeeeey, morning!! Happy birthday, bruv!“-he screamed.
„What?“-Aston asked waking up.-„Oh, thank you, bruv.“-he smiled.
„How is it to be a year older?“-Marvin teased.
„Same. Nothing changed really.“
„What do you say we go to Nando's as soon as you dress?“-Marvin asked.
„Ok“-Aston said as he got up.
He showered and as he came back to his room his phone was ringing.
„Hey, mom!“-he answered.
„Hey, son! Happy birthday! I hope you get everything you wished for“-Siobhan shouted.
„Thanks mom“-he smiled.
„How are you? What are you going to do today?“-she asked.
„I'm great. I'm going to Nando's with Marv now and we're going out later with rest of the guys. How are you?“
„Little bit concerned because of you. You haven't told me anything about Mary recently. What's going on with that?“-she asked.
„There is nothing to talk about. She left and moved on, so I'm trying to do the same. I mean, she didn't even call to wish me a happy birthday.“-Aston was sad.
„It's early, Aston. Think about the time difference, she'll probably call you as soon as she wakes up. Regardless of what happened, you are still friends and she cares for you, I'm sure.“
„I don't know. Look, I'm sorry but I have to go. Marv's waiting for me. Bye, mom!“-Aston said.
„Bye, son and take care!“-she replied and hung up. Aston finished dressing up and went downstairs.
„Can you ever be ready on time?“-Marvin teased him as they were walking out the door.
„My mom called. That's why I'm late“-Aston looked at his phone. He read wishes from his fans on twitter and he was happy to see their support and love.
„Hey, bruv, happy birthday! I wish you all best!“-JB hugged Aston when they came to the Nando's.
„Thank you, bruv“-Aston smiled.
„Happy birthday!!!“-Oritse screamed hugging Aston.-„I wish you to find a girl soon“-he winked.
„You're still gonna remind me of that night? I was really drunk then“-Aston sat down.
„Yeah, it was hillarious. Don't be ashamed of what you want“-Oritse laughed.
„What's the plan for tonight? Who's coming?“-JB asked.
„I thought we could go on dinner together and then later meet with the guys at Aura.“-Aston said.
„Is there a dress code?“-Oritse teased.
„Yes, no hats“-Aston teased back.
„Ouch! I guess I'm not coming“-Oritse became serious.
„I'm kidding, Reesh. Don't take it so serious.“-Aston laughed.
„Mary?“-Marvin said looking behind Aston. He turned his head and looked like he saw a ghost.
