„What?! What are you talking about?“-Marvin raised his voice.
„His brother called him and said their mother is in the hospital. I wanted to go with him but he made me stay here and notify you. He said we must stay here and finish the work.“-Aston explained.
„Did he say anything else?“-JB sat right next to him.
„No. His brother didn't tell him details, just that he must come to the hospital immediately. What should we do now?“-Aston asked.
„His wish is that we stay here and finish our work, so we'll do that. And later, we'll go to the hospital to see him.“-Marvin said.
„No.“-Mary spoken for the first time.-„You'll go to the hospital now. He needs you, he needs your strength. Go and be supportive. I'll meet you there soon.“-she ordered.
„Are you sure? We want to be there, of course, but we just started working again…“-JB said.
„Go! He's like a brother to you and he needs you now. Go!“-she continued.
„Thank you“-Marvin said as the guys walked out. Mary sat in the silence and felt the tears coming down. She was frustrated that everytime things start going good for guys, something comes in the way. She finally broke down and cried for a while. She felt like she brought the bad luck to the guys. Her phone rang. It was a message from Oliver.
„Meet me in 5“-she was confused and replied a simple 'ok'. She wasn't suppoused to meet him until all songs were done. She got up, went to the bathroom, wiped away the tears and went to Oliver's office.
„Excuse me. Can you help me? I'm looking for Mrs. Williams, can you tell which room is she in?“-Mary asked a nurse.
„Are you a relative to her?“-the nurse asked.
„I'm her son's friend.“-Mary replied.
„Oh, ok. I'll take you to them.“-nurse smiled.
„How is she?“-Mary asked.
„I'm not the one you should be asking that. Only a doctor can give you an answer.“-nurse said in a strange voice. They got to the guys so Mary wasn't able to ask anything more.
„Hi, guys!“-Mary greated and hugged Oritse.-„How is she?“
„I don't know. They won't tell us anything. But it can't be good.“-Oritse started crying.
„Shhhh…. calm down. Everything will be alright. Just calm down.“-she rubbed his back.
„She has to be right. I can't lose her.“-Oritse moaned.
„You won't. Come, sit there and I'll go find a doctor to tell us something more.“-Mary said and walked away. Few minutes later, she came back with a doctor.
„Hi, I'm doctor Wendell. Who is related to Mrs. Williams?“-doctor asked.
„We are. How is she?“-Oritse and his brother stood up.
„I'm sorry but I have to give you bad news. Your mother's condition got worse. She needs to be in hosiptal for few days and she needs some extra special care. I have to tell you it's very expensive and you have to go to the administration to talk with them about your possibiliates.“-doctor said with remorse.
„And what if we can't pay that care?“-Oritse asked.
„I'm affraid it might occure the worst.“-doctor replied.
„Don't worry, bruv. We'll figure something out.“-Marvin consoled him.
„We'll sell everything we own if we have to.“-Aston continued.
„Thank you. It means a lot but I could never ask you to do that.“-Oritse said.
„You don't have to. I'll pay for everything.“-Mary said.
„What? I can't ask you to do that.“-Oritse came to her.
„You're not asking. I'm doing it because I want to help you.“-Mary took his hand.-„Don't worry about it. The only thing important is that your mom gets better. Where is the administration?“-Mary turned over to the doctor.
„Come with me.“-he said smiling.
