„Anyone having a bad hangover this morning?“-Oliver asked as he entered the meeting room.
„No, we're fine“-Oritse smiled.
„How are the preparations going on?“-Oliver turned to Mary.
„Well, the dates are confirmed, guys almost learned all choreographies and the bus will be ready in three days. I'm not sure where do we stand with the stage and the lightening, but I have a meeting later where we will discuss about that.“-Mary explained looking at her notepad.
„That's great. You've done a great job so I've decided to give you more money to spend. I want you guys to shoot some scenes that will be played on a big screen on the stage.“Oliver said.
„Thank you!“-guys shouted.
„Yeah, thank you very much. I wanted to suggest that but I didn't know what you'd think about it.“-Mary smiled.
„Big minds think alike“-Oliver laughed.
„Is that all? I have even more work now“-Mary asked.
„Yes, that's all. Thank you for coming and see you soon“-Oliver greeted them.
„What are we doing today?“-Oritse asked.
„I'm not sure. Just go down to the studio and rehearse a little. I'll meet up with you after this meeting and we'll see what we'll do. OK?“
„Ok. See ya later“-guys went straight to the studio. They rehearsed songs they weren't sure they knew properly.
„I can't believe we're actually going on our own tour. I'm so excited!“-Aston shouted when they made a break.
„I can't wait to stand on the stage and sing to our fans. I hope someone will come to see us“-Oritse laughed.
„Imagine if no one buys tickets. I can imagine the four of us standing in an empty theatre waiting for someone to show up“-Marvin was worried.
„Don't think like that. We have to believe that someone will show up.“-JB consoled him.
„Yeah, I mean they wouldn't let us do all of these preparations if the tickets weren't been sold. Even Oliver was satisfied this morning, I think that's a good sign“-Aston smiled.
„Aston's right. He gave us more money because he believes it'll pay off.“-JB said and they continued to practice.
„Hi, guys!“-Mary said as she walked in.
„Hi“-they greeted.
„How is it going on?“-she asked.
„Good. How was the meeting?“-Oritse asked.
„Great. Everything is going even better than I imagined. But, I have to talk to you about something.“-Mary took a deep breath.
„What's going on? You're scaring us“-JB said.
„Over the past few months I got really close to you guys, and I care deeply about every single one of you. That's why it is so hard for me to say this, but after this tour I'm going back to NY. I have to work on my career so I won't have time to be here like I have been these months.“-Mary swallowed really hard trying to control her emotions.
„What? You're leaving us? Why? How? What are we going to do now?“-Oritse couldn't believe.
„You've learned a lot, almost everything and someone will work with you when I'm not here. I'm still on head of everything and some important decisions you'll have to run by me, but you're ready to work on your own, believe me“-she tried to smile.
„Still, it won't be the same without you“-JB came to her and hugged her. Aston just sat in his chair not believing what he just heard. He knew this had to happen sometime but he didn't expect it to happen so soon. A tear fell from his eye and he wiped it away before anyone could see.
