Well I won't find out sooner if I don't come up to Brooke. As I walked nearer to them their features came clearer.Their were locked onto each other, without a care in the world, she giggled lightly from his words and love sickly smiled from ear to ear. OK something is definitely up. It was dark already, winter ruins the fun, the trees looked held back and drooped for some reason, I guess the timing of day has that effect.

I watched as the  guy leaned in and pecked her on her lips. Her beautiful pale round face turned into a red tomato as she flickered her eyelashes. OK she is definitely in love. I'm so near to her yet she hasn't noticed me come, instead her eyes were locked on Romeo. I can sense the sexual tension between them. Almost making me hesitate in disturbing them.

After inwardly debating with myself whether to say something or not. I decided.
"Brooke" I murmured nervously. Her face glowed with excitement as she skipped towards me without a care. She opened her arms and embraced me into a tight hug. "Alex" she squealed. Tightening her grip around me.

She finally let me go, so I could regain my breathing. "How are you?" she asked, happily. I smiled back at her. "I'm fine" I replied. "Why haven't you called?" she asked with a pout. Ever since this guy has popped up, Brooke seems to have an emotion spasm. Her excitement literally pouring out of her eyes. If it wasn't for this guy to be here I could definitly conclude that Brooke is on ecstasy.

"Oh, I forgot Alex this is Daniel" She smiled lightly. I looked at the guy as he turned around to face me. Whoa. She has some explaining to do. "I know I've met him before" I replied. "Oh great" she smiled, revealing round dimples on her cheeks."He's my mate" she squealed. Well that explains the waterfall of emotions suddenly. I guess that's a wolf thing. He smiled at me lightly. I nodded towards him. "That's great" I  tried to make my tone as cheery as Brooke's but it blew up in my face and resulted me sounding like I was being sarcastic.

"I know" she chirped. She reminded me of birds during long summer mornings and their habit to wake us up from our restless slumber."Wait does Hunter know about you two?"I asked. Daniel nodded. "So Hunter allowed you too to be together? But isn't Hunter a half-blood hater?" I asked, slightly confused. Daniel let out a chuckle. "No, Hunter just dislikes Chase, he doesn't have any problems with half-bloods." he explained. Well then.

"So does Chase know about this?" I asked. Brooke sucked in some air, and looked at me helplessly. "Of course not, last time I mentioned someone from the lake moon pack he told me to not say their names in this house ever again" she rolled her eyes. I gave her a sympathetic look.

"Chase can't be that low" I said in disbelief. "You better believe it because it's true. Chase would rather die than have a lake moon pack member in this house, let alone be my mate" she crossed her arms and stared at the house with furrowed eyebrows. Daniel squeezed her arm to comfort her and pulled her into his chest. Alright, I know I'm not a fan of mates or love by that fact. But that scene was truly cute. Daniel twirled his fingers around her blonde strands, and rested his chin on her head. "I'll try talking to him for you" I suggested. "Maybe he'll see through it" I shrugged.

"That's highly impossible" she murmured. "It will take a miracle " she sighed. "You're forgetting that I am a miracle" I grined. She smiled back. "Of course, forgive me my queen" she sarcastically apologized. "You are forgiven"I smirked. "You, you better treat Brooke right" I snapped.

"Let's hope you don't turn out like a Hunter" I said. Brooke gave me a sympathetic look. "Hunter really isn'a bad person. He's a little confused and plus you've changed him a lot" he explained.
"What? How did I change him?" I asked. He looked at my strangely. "You haven't noticed?" he asked."He's gone different. He doesn't flirt with every girl anymore. He's stopped talking to us, he hardly eats anything. It's almost like he's lost" he explained.
