Forever (Rin Matsuoka X Reader)

Chapter Six: Stay With Me

       "I need your key," Rin's melodic voice lulls me from my sleep. 

       I reach into my pocket without opening my eyes and hand him the key I have tied to a maroon ribbon. I hear the pop of the lock and the creak of the door. I try to climb down off his back but his grip around my legs tighten as he takes my shoes off for me. Once his shoes are off he walks further into my apartment. 

       "Do you have tea?" He asks as he sets me down on the couch. 

       "You're my guest so let me make it," I move to stand up but his arms box me in and he leans down, close to my face.

       "Let me do this for you," he whispers, bringing his face even closer. "Please, Y/N." 

       I nod my head. Rin straightens up and I can't help but watch as he strides to the kitchen. He fills the electric kettle and pulls two oversized mugs out of the cabinet above the stove. 

       I can't help myself. I walk over and stand behind him. Snaking my arms around his waist, I bury my face into his back. "I love you, Rin," I mumble into the fabric of his shirt. 

       He spins around and holds me tight. "I love you too, Y/N."

       With tears in my eyes, I tilt my chin up and stare at the blurry features of the maroon-haired boy. He brings his hands to my face, using his thumb to wipe the runaway moisture on my cheeks before slowly lowering his lips onto mine. We stay like that for a moment before finally pulling back.

       He blushes and plants another small peck on the tip of my nose.

       We hear the water begin to boil. Rin gives me a small push on my lower back towards to couch and he prepares the tea. I take a seat in the middle of the couch and graciously take the mug from his extended hand. He sits in the corner of the couch and I scoot closer to him. Leaning forward, I place my mug on the table giving the contents time to cool off and snuggle up against his body. 

       I feel his lips press against my temple.

       "Y/N," Rin says, his voice hushed. "I want to be with you."

       Taking the mug from his hand, I place it next to mine before climbing onto his lap. "Say the word and I'm yours, Rin." I press my lips against his and breathe in the subtle smell of chlorine that clings to his skin. 

       "Be mine." His lips move against mine. He shifts slightly, letting my legs settle on the outside of his. "Be mine, Y/N." His hand slowly tangle in my H/C hair as tilts my head back to deepen the connection between our mouths. 

       I feel one of his hands slide down my back, cupping my ass as his hips move slowly against mine. Forgetting about our drinks, we stay like this for who-knows-how-long. If it weren't for his ringtone resonating in the silence of my apartment we might have stayed like that even longer. I roll off his lap while he fishes his phone from his pocket. Grabbing both of our mugs, I walk into the kitchen to reheat the liquid in the microwave. 

       "Hey, Gou," he says hoarsely into the receiver. "Yeah, I'm still with her. I don't know when I'll be home. Tell the guys I'm sorry, please."

       The timer beeps and I remove the porcelain cups. As I take my seat next to him, he moves the device away from his face. I don't know what comes over me but I suddenly blurt out, "Stay with me."

       His eyes light up. "I'll be home in the morning." He hangs up the call and shuts his phone off. "I'll stay with you for as long as you want me to."

       Bringing my forehead to his, I smile and drop my voice to a whisper. "Forever."

       He passionately crashes into my lips, pushing me back onto the couch in place of a vocal response. Pulling back for only a split second his raspy voice rings out one word. "Forever."
