He kissed me. "Have I told you how lucky I am to have you in my life lately?" He kissed me again. I loved the feeling he gave me. I really loved him with all of my heart. "So how'd it go with Grayson?" I asked. His beautiful smile dropped and he told me everything. I felt terrible. Grayson really liked that girl, and seemed really serious about her. Somehow, as Ethan and I were talking, we went from talking about Grayson's relationship status, to talking about what kind of family we want someday. This topic was actually kinda common. I like to think about my future life with Ethan. I know we're gonna be together for the rest of our lives, so why not imagine what it's gonna be like. "I want a big family Sophie" he said. "I do too" I replied. Ethan and I had never done anything. We wanted to wait until after we graduated. But I don't know if I can wait that much longer. I really love Ethan. And all I want is to start a family with him.
*about two hours later*
"We better start getting ready for dinner tonight. We don't want another incident like last time." Ethan said. (Our families are pretty close, so we do a lot of things together. Ethan's jaw dropped as I walked out of the bathroom. "You look-" he couldn't even finish. "I didn't know it was possible for you to get even more perfect." He said. Now he had the biggest smile on his face. I walked up to him and gave him a big kiss. I pulled my face away from his and smiled up at him. He grabbed my hand and we walked out of my room and to his car waiting in my driveway. We still had about forty-five minutes before we needed to be there. So we drove slowly. I held Ethan's free hand the whole way there. After about thirty minutes, we were at the restaurant. His parents were already there too, so we just talked got them until my parents got there. And as always, they were a little late. They pulled in the spot opposite of Lisa's car. I looked up at them. But this time, something was different. All four doors opened. It's usually just three. My mom, dad and Addie. I walked over to see who it was and then, I stopped in my tracks, gasped and put my hands over my mouth. He stood about 6' 2". And was still in his work clothes. I looked up to see a very defined Marine. But not any Marine, my brother.

I began to cry. I hadn't seen him in almost two years and we had always been really close. Ever since we were little. He walked closer and hugged me tightly. I put my head in his chest and he rested his chin on the top of my head. I stayed in his arms for a long time. He looked down at me. "You've gotten so big Sophie." He said. Jackson towered over me. But I've always been little. I hugged my brother again. I was so happy to see him. I turned and looked at Ethan, "Did you know about this?" I said. He nodded. I hated him for not telling me, but I just couldn't hold in my excitement.
Ethan's POV Sophie turned around and looked at me. "Did you know about this?" She said. I nodded. I could tell she was mad that I hadn't told her. But oh my god, I don't think I've ever seen her this happy before. She held Jackson's hand as the rest of our family walked into the restaurant. "Mr. Miller" I called to Sophie's dad. He turned around. "What is it Ethan?" He said. "There's something I've been wanting to ask you" I said. I felt my heartbeat increase. It was almost beating out of my chest. "Well spit it out kid" he said. And then I said it. It was out. "I want to marry your daughter"
