Ethan's POV

"Wanna see if we can make an appointment?" She said. I had never been so happy before in my life. I nodded while smiling. We got back in the car and I saw blood on the passenger seat. "It was bad." She said. I closed the door as I heard the dial tone ringing. "East Coast Clinic, this is Hannah speaking. How may I help you?" I heard a preppy voice say.
"Hi Hannah, my name is Sophie Miller!"
"Okay, Ms. Miller, how may I help you?"
"Well, I uh- just found out that I'm pregnant. I was wondering if I could schedule an appointment with Dr. Graham?" Sophie struggled to say.
"Unfortunately, we don't have any available spots today and we are closed tomorrow. How does the 27th sound?"
"Great! What times are available?"
"We have an 8:30 and a 9:45," Hannah said. I heard keyboards clicking in the background. Sophie looked at me-
"8:30 please," she said.
"Okay Ms. Miller! We'll see you on the 27th." Hannah said and then hung up the phone.

"I'm sorry Ethan." "I know you wanted to see the baby today." She said. "Soph, don't be sorry, you are having my baby. And for that, I am grateful." I said. She grabbed my hand and began to drive away. We pulled into her driveway. She was the only car there, besides mine. "Where is everyone?" I asked. She shrugged her shoulders. We got out of the car and walked inside. I saw Jackson sitting in the kitchen with his back to us.
Sophie's grasp on my hand tightened. "You should talk to him," I said. She shut the door so that it was obvious. He turned around, his eyes were red and puffy. He'd been drinking. She walked up to him and gave him a hug. "Jacky, I'm so sorry." She said into his chest. He held her close. I felt like they needed some time alone, so I went upstairs.

Sophie's POV

"I'm so sorry," is all that I kept saying. I was crying into my brothers chest and I knew that I let him down. I felt just as safe in his arms as I did in Ethan's. Soon, he pulled away. "Can we talk?" He asked. I nodded my head and sat down beside him.

"I'm sorry Jack..." I started
"Don't be. I should be the one apologizing..." he said
"I started all of this though. I'm the one who got pregnant in the first place." I began to wipe my eyes.
"But I made matters worse. There is nothing you can do about it. And I should've supported you. But instead, I stressed you out more." He said as her fidgeted his fingers.
"I'm really happy soph, I really am." He added.
"Thank you so much. Can you just... not tell mom and dad... please. I want to tell them when I'm ready."
"Of course." He said. I gave him another hug and went upstairs.

I walked up to my room and see Ethan laying on my bed. "Hey." He said, sitting up. I looked over to the corner of my room and see the finished dollhouse. "You finished it?" I asked. "I had nothing better to do." He said. I went to my closet and began to lay out clothes on my bed. Ethan gave me a 'what are you doing' look. "I'm not staying here tonight. I just need to be with you." I said. Once I was done, I grabbed a duffle out of my closet and started to pack my clothes on it.
Ten minutes later, I threw a blanket over Addie's dollhouse, grabbed my keys and began to walk downstairs. Once we were down there, I saw that Jackson had moved from the kitchen to the couch. He was passed out. I left a note on the counter that said:

"Staying at Ethan's tonight. I'll be back in the morning to open presents. I love y'all
-Sophie❤️."

We walked to Ethan's car and I threw my stuff in the back. He leaned over the console and kissed me. I was kinda sad because now, I can't hold his free hand since he had a cast on it now. I tried the best I could to hold his free fingers. Once we were at the house, Ethan carried my bag up to his room. I was behind him when someone pulled me aside. It was Cameron. "Are you-?" She said looking at me stomach. I nodded my head. She pulled me into a hug. "But it's gonna be okay, Ethan and I are going to get through this together." I said.
I walked into Ethan's room and see him lying in the bed. So, I jumped on top of him. "Hey! That hurt." He said. I rolled off of his back and kissed him. I ended up falling asleep in his arms for what felt like two minutes. He began to shake me, trying to wake me up. I tried to push him away. "Come on baby, it's time for dinner." He said. I slowly sat up and got out of the bed. He grabbed my hand and walked me downstairs.
I saw Lisa standing over the stove. She had mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli and gravy on the heaters. Sean was walking inside with a tray of steaks. Normally I would love the smell of steaks. But when I caught a whiff of them this time, I had a sudden urge to throw up. I ran to the bathroom and Ethan followed me. I threw up, barely making it to the toilet. Ethan grabbed my hair and rubbed my back.
