Ethan's POV

I've been driving for almost five hours now. Sophie is peacefully sleeping in the passenger seat. She looks beautiful even when, especially when, she's sleeping. She started to squirm as she woke up. "Good morning, sleeping beauty." I said. She stretched her arm and I grabbed her hand as she brought it down.
She looked at me and smiled a big smile. "E, I'm hungry." She said with her voice still groggy. "Ok gorgeous. Is it okay if I get off at the next exit?" I asked. She nodded and drifted on and off back into sleep.
I pulled into the drive-thru of a Chick-fil-a. I put my hand on Sophie's thigh. "Wake up sweetheart." Her eyes slowly opened and she sat up. "What do you want to eat?" She just mumbled. I just got her what she normally does and while we ate, Sophie started to play throwback songs. We screamed them at the top of our lungs.
She turned the music down and looked at me. "What's up?" I said. "It's just-it's just that I love you so much. And I don't know where I would be without you." She started to cry. I pulled the car to the shoulder of the road. "Aww soph, it's okay. Why are you crying?" I said as she put her head into my chest. I felt hot tears soak through my shirt and roll down my chest. All I could do was hold her close. She couldn't speak.
After five minutes of her crying, I finally asked her what was wrong. "I'm just scared to lose you because I'm just a-." "You're just a what? I'll tell you what you are. You are my girlfriend. I don't want you to ever leave me. And I will never leave you." "You are my whole world Ethan Grant Dolan and I don't know where I would be without you." She said. Her eyes started to water again. But this time she was smiling. "Happy tears?" I said. "Happy tears." She replied. I pulled back onto the road and held her hand for the rest of the way there.

It's about two in the afternoon and we just pulled up to the hotel where we are staying. It's kind of like a bunch of cabin like rooms, set up in a hotel way (if that makes any sense). It looks like we are the first ones out of our families that are here. "We're here soph" I said, pulling into a parking space. She looked at me with a big smile on her face. Oh my god I cannot wait to marry this girl.
Speaking of which, tonight is the night. Tonight at dinner, I'm going to propose to her in front of our families. I really hope she says yes. I'm just nervous that she won't say yes because we're too young. And a lot of people may think that too, but age is just a number. I know that I am going to live her for the rest of my life. And that's a fact.
