Two days later

Today we go to the doctor. I've been up for a while getting ready. I put on this➡️. Now comes, the hard part: waking up Ethan. I was putting all of my makeup back up, when I felt his arms wrap around me. "Good morning babygirl." He said. I spun around and kissed him. "I didn't know you were awake yet." I said. "What?! I could hardly sleep last night. We get to see the baby today!" He said. I didn't realize how excited he was.

Since we were done getting ready early, we decided to get some breakfast on our way out

Since we were done getting ready early, we decided to get some breakfast on our way out. I walked downstairs and was startled by my mom. "I didn't know you were awake?" I said. "I'm gonna spend the day with some of my girlfriends today." She said. I'm glad. She really needed to relax. I grabbed my keys and walked out of the door. "Love you mom!" I shouted.

We pulled up to the doctor. I looked at Ethan. "You ready?" He asked. I nodded and opened the door. We walked up to the front desk. "How may I help you today?" The lady asked. "Um, my name is Sophie Miller and I have an appointment today with doctor Graham." I said. She handed me some forms and said that I needed to fill them out. She didn't make eye contact once. "Bitch" I mumbled under my breath. Ethan chuckled.
Ten minutes later, I heard my name be called. "Ms. Miller?" Someone shouted. Ethan and I got up. "Follow me!" She said. We walked down a hall of rooms. Finally, we went into one. "Okay Miss Sophie, Dr. Graham will be in soon." She said. And she wasn't wrong. Not even a minute later, we heard a knock on the door. "Come in." I said. She popped her head in my room and then revealed the rest of her body. "Hey Sophie! As you know, I'm going to be with you throughout this whole pregnancy. If you ever have any questions, don't hesitate to call me." I nodded.
"Can you please lay down and lift up your shirt for me sweetheart," She asked. I laid down and pulled up my shirt the rest of they way. "This is gonna be a little cold." She said as she applied some gel to my stomach. I jumped a little which made Ethan and I giggle. "Are multiples common in your family, dad?" Dr. Graham asked. "Yes, I'm a twin. And I have cousins who are twins." Ethan said. "Well it appears that miss Sophie here is expecting twins as well..." his jaw dropped. She pointed to the monitor. And sure enough, there they were, two little dots. I put my hands over my mouth and began to cry. "Do you guys want any pictures?" She asked. "Yes!" We said at the same time.
I wiped the gel off and sat up. "So let's talk." She said. "Obviously, you are both young. Sophie, this means that you will definitely not be able to go full term. Most full grown women don't go full term with twins. Since you are young, I don't want you to damage anything." She said. "Right now, we are looking at anywhere from the end of July to the middle of August." She continued. "I'm gonna say August fifteenth." "Well Thank you so much." I said as I hugged her. She left the room and Ethan walked over to the me. He got on his knees and kissed my bare stomach. He stood up and gave me a kiss. "Let's get going." I said. We walked to the front desk and made our next appointment.
I got into the car and checked my phone. I had seventeen missed calls from my best friend, Lilly. So, I called her back.

L: hello?
S: Hey!
L: oh my god, you finally called back!
S: yeah, sorry about that, I was at a doctors appointment
L: was it the OB?
S: What?! Why would you ask that?
L: because your moms friends can't necessarily keep secrets. she told my mom and Courtney's mom.

(Courtney is the HBIC of our school)

L: by the time we go back to school the whole school will know
S: I'm aware of that. I'm coming over, we need to talk about this.
L: okay, see you in a bit
S: bye...
L: bye...
