We leave for the mountains in a couple of days. Our teachers already know that Ethan, Grayson and I won't be at school for the entire month of December. I honestly couldn't wait until we left. It was time for a much needed break. I was packing my bag, when I felt someone come up from behind and hug me. I looked up to see Ethan smiling down at me. I spun around and gave him a kiss. He held my face and I had my arms around his waist as we stood there. Oh my god, I love him so much.
Ethan's POV
It's been a few weeks since I talked to Sophie's dad and brother. But I haven't asked her yet. I want to wait for just the right time to ask. I'm having a really hard time keeping this from her. Because we tell each other everything. I'm planning on telling her our first night in Tennessee (where the mountains are) while we are at dinner. We leave in a couple of days too. So I need to get my act together and just tell her how I feel about her. I know I love her with everything inside of me. And I know Sophie feels the same way about me. I'm just nervous because this is only gonna happen once. And I don't want her to be disappointed.
The Day we Leave for Tennessee Sophie's POV
It's currently 5 in the morning. If we want to be there by a decent time, we need to leave soon. Getting Ethan up this early is always a pain in my... neck. He is definitely NOT a morning person. I reached over to his side of my bed to wake him up, only to find an abundance of covers. He walked into the room with a tray in his hands. I rubbed my eyes to assure me that I hadn't been dreaming. "Good morning sleeping beauty. I made you breakfast." He said. "And you didn't burn the house down?!" I replied. He laughed and I smiled from ear to ear then took the tray from him. He leaned down, brushed the hair out of my face and kissed my head because I still had morning breath. He doesn't mind it but I do. I started to eat my breakfast. "I'm gonna hop in the shower. Is that okay baby girl?" He asked rhetorically. Even though I just wanted him to lay here with me, I nodded and he headed to my bathroom.
Ethan's POV
"Ethan?" I heard Addie say. I walked into her room and sat on her bed. She was still tucked tightly in. "What is it Addie?" I said, making sure not to be too loud. "Why're you 'wake?" She said. (Her vocabulary is still kinda bad because she's only six). "Shh, just go back to bed." I told her. She nodded her head. I stood up off of her bed and walked out, closing the door behind me. I walked to the bathroom to straighten up really quickly. As I walked into the bathroom, I turned my head to see that Sophie had already gotten out of the bed and started getting ready. She walked passed the door with nothing but one of my sweatshirts on and pair of short shorts. I smiled at the thought that she was all mine. And soon it'd be us together forever. Then, silently, I walked into the bathroom.
Sophie's POV
I saw Ethan walk out of Addison's room. I was thankful that he was so good with her. I walked passed the door, still in my pajamas. I know he saw me too. I just played it cool and started to get all of our bags ready. Quickly, I grabbed one of Ethan's old hoodies and put my hair in a messy bun. (➡️)

Ethan walked into my bedroom. He didn't have a shirt on and was still damp from his shower. He walked up to me and kissed me. I ran my fingers through his wet hair and felt his soft lips on mine. I smiled as he pulled away. He rested his chin on the top of my head and I put ear up to his chest. With my arms wrapped around his waist and his strong arms around my shoulders, all I could hear was his heartbeat. He kissed my head and I looked up to him. "Come on Soph, we gotta finish getting packed." He said as we pulled away from each other. I basically already had all of mine and Addie's bags packed, so I got on my phone for a while until it was time to go. First I checked the time, 6:45. We needed to leave soon. Ethan started to carry our bags down to his Jeep. I went on Instagram and the first thing I saw was an edit of E and I. We told the fans about us about a year and half ago, when we started to get more serious with each other. They took the news kinda well. Now, all I ever see are edits of us. I personally think I'm that they are really sweet. I looked up to see Ethan standing in the door. "You ready to get going baby?" He said. I nodded and got up. We walked downstairs and I told my parents that we were leaving and that Addie was still sleeping. They said it was fine and we walked outside to the car. How cold it was took me by surprise. I ran to the car and jumped in as first as I possibly could. E got into the drivers side. He leaned across the console and gave me one more kiss before we left. Then he put the car and gear and we pulled out of my driveway.
