Ghoul Nagisa

I was on my kitchen floor, holding my head in pain.
It's already been 2 months since I've eaten a human.
I had completely lost track, I've been so focused on getting my grades up I forgot to target my next victim.
"Urgh!" I clinched my teeth together trying to ignore my hunger
My head was going crazy!
I needed food!

Just then I smelled a delicious smell
It was a human!
"Food!" I yelled
My ghoul side took over and I jumped on whoever that person was, about to bite them when all of a sudden
"Nagisa!?"
My eyes widened and it wasnt until then that I noticed who I was about to eat
"K-Karma!?"
He looked at me with wide eyes
I quickly got off of him and ran to my bedroom, locking myself in the process
'I almost ate Karma! I almost ate Karma! I almost ate Karma! I almost ate Karma! I almost ate Karma!'
I was pulling my hair, punishing myself for what I almost did
'I'm a monster!'

I barely had any energy, I was so hungry.
I was getting weaker by the second.
If Karma told the police about me they should be here any minute now.
I had to eat now that way I could escape without putting much of a fight.
Just then I looked at my arm
"...."
It was worth a shot
I brought it to my mouth and took a huge bite followed by another bite and another and another

I had had eaten the meat off both my arms and I wrapped them both up with a cloth
They should heal soon anyway
"Nagisa! Let me in!"
I heard Karma through the other side of the door
"!!!"
He was still here?!
He should have left
He should hate me
Be scared of me
Report me to the police for being a ghoul
"Why are you still here?!Go away!"
"Nagisa please!"
"No! You just want me to get caught!"
"...so you are a ghoul"
"Yeah and I almost ate you"
"I don't hate you...you were just hungry"
"I could have killed you"
"I trust you...You know why?"
"..."
"Because the minute I called your name you snapped out of it"
"...."
"Can you let me in?"
"....."
I hesitated but I eventually opened the door. Besides there wasn't much of a risk, I had controlled my hunger with my own flesh.

Karma smiled when he saw that I opened the door, but his smile soon faded when he saw my arms
"Nagisa your arms!" He ran up to me and removed the now bloodied cloth
"Why would you do this?"
"I was hungry....besides it'll heal anyway"
"...."
All of a sudden he pulled me into his arms
"Don't ever do this again!"
"But-"
"I'll help you...we could look for any delinquents or criminals together "
I smiled
"You don't hate me"
"Of course not"
"You won't report me or betray me?"
"I will never....I will always be by your side"
"Thank you"
"...But if you do ever try to eat me, don't aim for my face next time"
"I won't"
"Good because I don't want my number one trait to go bye bye"
I smiled and we both embraced each other

I'm really lucky to have him in my life
