Family Grief

A/N: An OC oneshot as suggested by TheStupidPersonUKnow

OC's
Yuuto Akabane-9 years old, the oldest son, dark blue hair (has an undercut and one side is usually slicked back) grey eyes, mature, wears blouses, loves his mom (Nagisa) he isn't close to his dad (Karma) because he remembers only being raised by Nagisa while Karma was always busy at work. Yuuta came to believe that Karma didn't want him. Also hides his emotions well, he doesn't like others seeing his weakness

Itsuki Akabane- 6 years old, the middle child, bright red hair (messy/wavy hair) mercury eyes, playful, wears sporty clothes, likes putting a smile on everyone's face, open about his feelings

Hana Akabane- 3 years old, youngest child, grey hair (straight hair and has bangs) blue eyes, wears colorful dresses,  always following her dad(Karma), her mood determines on the environment...if someone is sad she'll be sad with them.

Aiko Shiota- 33 years old, light blue hair (Korean parted hair) grey eyes, wears suits, loves his sister (Nagisa)

Karma pov
My life was perfect.
I had the perfect wife. The perfect job. The perfect children.

Nagisa and I married at a very young age, 18, and 2 years later she got pregnant with our first son Yuuto.
3 years later we would have another son, Itsuki.

We were only going to have two children, but we decided that we should try to have one more.
Another 3 years passed by and we had our  baby girl Hana.

Everything was like every other day.
I would go to work and leave Nagisa in charge of the kids.
She would normally go to work as well and we'd hire a house maid, but she took time off of work to do her mother and wife duties.
I wasn't going to stop her, once she sets her mind to something there's nothing that can stop her...that's one of the things I loved about her.

When I came back from work I saw Nagisa in the living room, playing with Hana while Yuuta was reading a book and Itsuki was watching TV.
The house was always under control when I came back.

As we were eating dinner the phone rang.
Nagisa went to answer it.

Once she was done she put the phone back down
"Who was it?" I asked
"The school. They want me to pick up a few papers"
"Shall I go with you?" I asked
"Who's going to look after the kids?" She said
I smirked at her response
"Can I go!" Itsuki spoke up
"You stay here and finish your dinner" she smiled ruffling his hair
"Aww" he whinned
"Hey, do you find me that boring?" I asked, seeing as how he would rather go with his mom than stay here with me 
"Are we going to play guns?!" He yelled
"Shh. Not infront of mom" I whispered
Nagisa rolled her eyes and put her hand on Yuuta's shoulder
"Can I count on you to look after your your sister and those two troublemakers"
"Sure mom" Yuuta smiled
"Thanks" she said, kissing his head
As she grabbed her purse and keys she  turned back
"Yuuta"
Yuuta looked up at his mom's call
"How about we go to the library tomorrow, just the two of us"
"Really?"
She nodded in response
"Yeah!" he smiled

5 hours passed by and Nagisa had not returned
I already put the kids to sleep, but I was still waiting for Nagisa to return.

Just as I was about to call her the doorbell rang.
I ran to the door and opened it.
"!!!"
I was surprised seeing a police officer
"Are you Karma Akabane?"
"Why do you ask?"
"Your wife Nagisa Akabane was involved in an accident"
I felt my heart stop when I heard those words
"What do you mean she was in an accident!" I yelled, tugging at his uniform
"She was hit by a drunk driver"
"Where is she!? How is she!?" I asked, my grip tightening on his collar
"I'm sorry sir, she didn't make it"
"!!!"
After hearing those words I let the officer go and fell to my knees.
Nagisa...is dead...
