            “Keith? I’ll just take the top drawer okay?” Zuri yelled. Great, now she was gradually trying to move into my house. We’ve been dating for like a month, she’s moving too fast. I had thought our relationship was purely…well…you know. But clearly it isn’t!

            “Uh, are you sure? I mean, don’t you think it’s a little too soon for that?” I yelled up the stairs. She was in my bedroom with this huge bag. In the course of a month, we dated, slept together, and did the whole meet the parent’s thing. Her mom didn’t even speak English! It was weird and I told myself I would break up with her today. I just can’t do it anymore. She’s so clingy and lovey dovey. It’s weird, Cara was never like this. She loved me but…ANYWAY! I can’t keep thinking about her like this.

“No way, I’m so ready for this sweetie!” She yelled.

“But, we’ve only been dating a month!” I say as I climb the stairs. When I pass the twins room I sigh. I missed her so much…I had locked the door so Suzuran wouldn’t go in and see. But then again, maybe that would make her leave me.

“Hey Zuri? Can you come here for a sec? I kind of have a confession to make.” I said. She ran out the room with a worried face.

“What’s wrong baby!?” She said.

“I know I shouldn’t have kept this from you and I should have told you but. I was engaged before I met you.” I told her. Her face dropped but then after a minute her face lightened up.

“Oh no worries! You said you were engaged. You’re in love with me now. I’m okay with that.” She said cheerfully. I sighed, oh well. I guess I’ll just show her. I opened the door. When I opened the door completely she gasped. She walked in slowly and touched the cribs.

“Keith…” She whispered.

“I know it was wrong of me. I understand if you-“She tackled me in an embraced and kissed me multiple times.

“YOU’RE PLANNING ON HAVING KIDS WITH ME!? AND GIRLS!? OH KEITH!” She squealed. I pushed her off of me.

“No way! I mean, no, that’s not what this is Zuri!” I say. She stares at me and her face gets sad.

“Well, what is this?” She said softly.

“This is the room where my kids will sleep.” I said. Her face drops and all happiness disappeared from her face completely.

“What do you mean?” She asked.

“The girl I was engaged to, she’s currently pregnant with my twin girls.” I said. I see her eyes tear up but I feel no sympathy. I really wanted to end things with her, not to be rude.

“So, child support isn’t going to be an issue for us and I wouldn’t mind seeing them every once in a while. I mean, it’s not like you still love her or anything.” She said while touching my cheek. I pushed her arm off of me.

“No Zuri, you don’t get it! I’m having two beautiful twin girls! I love them, I love her, and I’ll always love Cara. Now, we’re not going to be together like that! You’re not my wife and WE won’t be doing any kind of child support!” I yell. She was crying then. She ran out the room and grabbed her bag and left. I felt kind of bad but…I just didn’t want to be with her anymore.

About another month later I was meeting my buddy Austin at the park. He wanted me to meet his step sister. His parents just got married and he knew I needed someone to be with me. Her name was Cheyenne. Apparently she was very pretty so I said yah.
