Chapter 2 Part 4

I was left in tears of joy and total silence. After a couple of seconds, I responded, "L – Laurance... I – I don't even know what to say." "Just say 'Yes', my love!" I replied with joy, "Yes, yes, yes!" He got up and I jumped into his arms because I was so ecstatic.

He put me down, put the ring on my finger and he kissed me. We held each other and watched the sun fall upon the ocean's horizon.

After a few hours, we decided to go home to get some rest after a long, exciting, and romantic day.

The next morning, we told everybody the news. They were all so happy for us. We were planning on having the wedding as soon as possible, because we simply couldn't wait to start our lives together. We both got our best friends to be the maid of honour, the best man, and the overall wedding planners.

A week later all the planning was complete and Laurance and I were ready to get married. The ceremony took place at none other than the docks, the place we declared our love for each other. There were so many people there.

Before the wedding, Laurance had a special request. He asked, "My love, would it be possible if, after we have taken our vows, I could, perhaps, transform?" "B – But, Laurance, why?" He explained sincerely, "I want everyone to see who I really am, even if they hate me afterwards. I want them to know how much our love can accomplish and overcome."

I was shocked and asked, "But shouldn't you get angry first to do so, and won't you get even more enraged in that form and try to hurt, or even, kill someone, including me?"

He gave me a quick kiss and said, "From this moment on, every kiss I give you, is to remind you of the promise I made you. A promise that I would never hurt you in any way. And besides, while you weren't looking, I found somebody who understood my pain and was able to help me control my anger, allowing me to transform into my Shadow Knight form only when I really must. I fear that I'll probably have to live with this curse for the rest of my life."

I was shocked once again. I said with a smile, "That's incredible! Well, if that's the case then, I trust you with that. Even if this curse does stay with you, I'll love you forever, with, or without it." "Thank you, my love." he replied. "Anything for you. Let's go." I finished getting ready and went to the alter.

The wedding started, and we took our vows. The priest said, "I now pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss the bride." We kissed and everyone applauded.

When that was complete, I made a quick announcement and said, "Ladies and gentlemen, I apologize for the standstill during the ceremony, but I just need to let you all know something first. My new husband has something to show you all, so do not be alarmed by what you are all about to see."

They all looked a bit afraid and whispered among each other. I turned to Laurance and said, "Whenever you are ready Laurance." He nodded.

He just stood there in silence and focused all his energy. After a little while, he transformed. The people gasped and were left speechless. "This, is who I am." Laurance said. Slowly, everybody got up and started clapping and cheering him on.

I went up to him and told him how proud I was. We gave each other a kiss and headed to the after-party which was held on the shore next to the docks. Later we got onto a boat and left on our honeymoon. The crowd went wild as we floated off into the sunset. That was the beginning of our lives together.

THAT. WAS. AMAZING! What an awesome ending, or is it? What did ya guys think of this part of the story, let me know... Also tell me if you've been enjoying the story till now.

Chapter 3 will then start asap. From there my uploads won't be as frequent, but I'll TRY my best guys. (Ya know with school and all...)
