Chapter 3 Part 7

A few months passed, with no drama at all.

Laurance, Garroth and Dante became great friends in that time. Dante and I also became close friends. We would always have a lot of fun when Garroth and Laurance were busy. They became known as The Three Guards. Commander Laurance, the Head Guard. Sir Garroth, the Second in Command Guard. And Chief Dante, the Head Trainer and Third in Command Guard.

One day, I decided to walk around town with them by my side, when out of nowhere, I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. The guys tried to help me stand up when I realized what was wrong. It was the baby!

I went straight into labor and the guys helped me get to the hospital safely. The nurses took me in, with Laurance, seeing as he was the father. Garroth, unfortunately, had to wait outside. Dante went back to patrolling the town.

Almost the whole day went by. I fell right asleep after giving birth. I didn't know this, but Garroth, Laurance and Dante took turns watching over me the whole night.

The next morning they told me about how they traded places throughout the night and everything. It made me so happy to see the three of them there the next morning.

The nurse came in with not only one, but TWO adorable little babies. They may have been both boy and girl, but they were like twins, even though they kinda looked very different from each other.

Both Laurance and I cried tears of joy. Garroth and Dante were both so happy for us. Garroth looked at us and said, "Congratulations you two. Have you thought about names yet?" I answered, "I – I have. I would like to name them both, if that's okay with you, Laurance?"

He gave me a kiss on my forehead and said, "Of course, my love. I'm sure that whatever names you give them, will be amazing." "I agree." Garroth said and nodded at me. I took a deep breath and said, "For her, I was thinking... Laura, because in those green eyes I see Laurance, and who he is. She also looks a lot like him in general." We all laughed, and I said, "For him though, I think... Garte."

Garroth and Dante seemed surprised, and Garroth asked, "M'lady, why that name?" I answered, "Because in those bright blue eyes, I see loyal friends who will always be there for me." Garroth blushed a little and said, "I am so honored by this. This means a lot." "I feel exactly the same." Dante said, also blushing a bit.

I could see that Garroth also started to tear up a bit. I looked at Laurance and asked, "A – Are those names, okay?" "They are absolutely beautiful, just like their mother." I blushed a bit and just smiled. Garroth and Dante came closer and gave me a hug. They both sat next to the bed on some chairs for a while.

Laurance looked at Garroth and Dante and asked, "H – Hey, guys? How would you two like to be a part of this little family?" "Huh?" they both said simultaneously. Laurance said, "I see you now as more than just my friends, I see you as my brothers. I want you to be a part of me, of her, of us. So, what do you say, brothers? Want to fulfill the roles as the uncles to my children?"

Garroth started to tear up again and said, "Nothing, would make me happier." Dante also replied, "Same. I – I would be absolutely honored, Laurance." They all got up and gave each other a group hug. This was one of the best days of my life. It made me so happy to see them like that. My boys.

The story will be ending tomorrow with a short conclusion as well as a little bonus part.

I have a vague idea for my next story, but I'm not sure when I'll be able to start writing it. So once again, please, just have a little patience with me, and I will try my best.
