Luke's POV
We all walked back to Ashton's and sat in a circle in the basement. The basement wasnt like a normal one. We had a carpet and lights. Our instruments were on one side and 4 massive sofas were on the other. I was sat the furthest away from the door. i liked to sit here because i could see if anyone was spying, i always have that feeling that i'm being followed or something. On my left Michael was fussing over his hair to nobody in particular. On my right Calum was playing a game on his phone and in front of my Ashton was sitting on his own looking bored. Beth came in with drinks for everybody including one for Em for when she arrives. Beth and Ash seemed like they had dated for years but in reality it was only about a month. The way Beth just sat on Ashton's lap without asking and him allowing her was just so cute. I wanted that with Em but i didnt want to rush into things... again.
"Hey guys!" Em walked in and i swear my jaw was probably hitting the floor. She was dressed in blue jean shorts with lace detail over the pockets and a loose vest top that made her eyes look even more amazing.
"Luke, you're catching flies there buddy" she said. Realizing she was talking to me i quickly shut my mouth, "aww Luke no need to blush it's fine" she said and walked over and sat between me and Michael.
"You are looking amazing Em, Australia suits you! You just need an Australian lad to complete the look" Michael states to Em way too confidently. How can I compete with that!
"awh, thanks Michael. Maybe I will have an Australian guy, eventually" Em replies, I force myself to look away from their flirting before I am sick. "So what do you guys normally chat about?" she continues, directing the question to me
"Just stuff i guess" i replied, feeling a little uncomfortable.

After 3 hours of just talking and getting to know everyone Em seemed really happy and part of the group. I couldnt help but smile.
"Guys im gonna grab something to eat and then go up to the spare room anyone joining me? Maybe mess around with the instruments" i said looking at everyone
"I wont but i'm sure Em would love to" Beth said winking at me
"So i'm going to ignore you" i said to her. As i started walking out Beth stopped me.
"You love me really" she said in her annoying high pitch voice
"Yea i guess" i laughed
"I hope not" Ashton joked
Unfortunately, Em was to engaged in her conversation with Michael to hear me so I walked out of the room and grabbed some potato chips and ran up the stairs. As soon as i sat down on the spare room bed there was a knock on my door. Michael walked in and sat down on the chair and turned on the PlayStation.
"Yeah sure you can play the PlayStation if you want go ahead. It wasnt as if i was going to play it or anything." i said to him
"aww was somebody expecting me to be Em, cute"
"what no" i said. Yes you were my subconscious butts in.
After an hour of just watching Michael win all the time and trying to pluck up the courage to ask him about Em, I finally mutter"Yo dude, can we talk?"
As Michael nodded and paused his game, there was another knock on the door
"Come in" I yelled with an underlying frustration
"Hey, so everybody has gone to their rooms now. Me and Em are staying over here but since you have the spare room me and Em have to share with Ashton but its cool. Calum went home he was acting all weird but yeah. Ashtons mum said you two can sleep here if you want but check with your parents." She babbled on like there was no tomorrow.
