Em's POV
Mum was letting me stay in Australia as long as i went to school, which i do .I've made a few new friends but i mainly stay with Beth and the boys or Harry. Harry is different to other guys but i'm not sure what makes him seem that way. There could be a few reasons. Disrupting me from my thoughts our alarm clock starting beeping that annoying sound that everyone dreads and before i could switch it off Beth was runnning for the shower telling me that she calls dibs.
As Beth had her shower i decided to go and make us some breakfast. Coco Pops, nothing special but it satisfied us both. Once i had eaten and Beth was done in the shower, i ran up the stairs to have one before little Alex woke up. He was adorable but doesn't knock he just walks in and there is obvously no lock on the bathroom door.
i couldn't be bothered this morning so i just put my hair in a messy pony before leaving the house with my bags. Usually we met the other boys at school and by then my hair would be dry, with this heat anyway, so i could take it out but to my surprise Luke was with Ashton who was leaning against the small wall that seperated both houses. Now i really wish i had made an effort. As Ash walked over to greet Beth i realisd that Luke started talking to me.
" you look erm, very pretty today Em."
" Thanks, i love your top. i have one just like it" did i really just say that?
" erm, thanks, i guess" of course i did!
Finally, it was last peiod. The only problem was it was maths and that is definately not my subject. However it isn't too bad because i sit next to Luke, who i haven't spoken to since making an idiot out of myself this morning, and Harry. As usual i was struggling. i was about to ask Harry if he knew what to do, nut when i looked over he had completed all the work. i need a math tutor badly, maybe Harry would do it for me.
" hey Harry, would you mind being my tutor seeing as i am pretty much failing this class?"
"sure, why not? how about tonight?"
" perfect, im at Calum's tonight to help them set up so they can practise but i'm sure nobody will mind if you came. if you want to that is?"
" yeah,i'd love to! Meet you at your locker later?"
"yeah, sure i can't wait!"
Luke's POV
Em hadn't spoken to me all day, maybe i said something. I'll speak to her during maths seeing as we both never have any idea what to do in that lesson. But when i walked in, i found that boy who i think is called Harry, sitting with Em. She was giggling and he was clearly trying to flirt with her. Are they a thing now? i was to late, i should have asked her out already.
i overheard Em ask Harry if he wanted to come with her to Cal's later, she sed nobody would mind. i do. i need to stop being so selfish and just move on because she obviously is, with Harry.
I waited for Em beside her locker and when she walked near she smiled. Was she smiling at me? Maybe she does like me. As if out of no where, Harry walked past and took Em into a hug, of course she wasn't smiling at me! We all, apart from Calum who must have left early, walked of to Calum's together. with Harry, now this would be fun!
Calum's POV
Where is everyone? They should be here by now. Interrupting my thoughts the door bell chimed, that must be them. As i opened the door i saw the boys, Beth and Em. Suddenly, there was a movement behind them, there was a guy there. Who was that? He has brown hair and bluey green eyes which where slightly hidden by his geek glasses. He wore a muscle tee with a red and black plaid shirt; skinny jeans that were torn at the knee all finished off with black hightop converse. This mysteriously adorable boy smiled a dimpley smile at me. Did i just call him adorable?
" Hi, erm I'm Harry, Harry Dillion. Your Calum right?"
" Yes i am. you must be Em's boyfriend?" Luke's face dropped, while everyone else started laughing.
" what am i missing" Me and Luke said in perfect unison, if this was any other time we would have found this funny but i was to embarrassed to laugh.
" Well, i mean Em is really pretty and all but im just not into her. Or any girls if you know what i mean." was he saying he was gay?
"You didnt actually think they were together did you?" Beth asked me and Luke as everyone else made their way inside.We were silent, indicating that we both did.
" Luke, how many times! Em likes you, not him or anyone else for that matter!" when Beth told us this everything started to make sense, maybe not to Luke because he didn't seem to convinced. i turned around to see Em with tears streaming down her face. Before i could stop her, she was running down the street.
Em's POV
I was coming back out to get the others so we could get started. It was obvious Calum was shocked when Harry told him that he was gay and i'm sure i sensed a slight happiness. Mind you, they would make a cute couple, Carry like i will always Carry you. Then it hit me, Harry told me ages ago that he use to have a crush on Calum, could it still be true?
As i walked to the door i heard Beth, " you didn't actually think they were together did you!" She had a point, me and Harry just wouldn't work. Then Beth carried on, " Luke, how many times! Em likes you not him or anyone else for that matter!" What! She told him! She was suppose to keep it a secret! I was about to cry and then Calum turned around, he tried stopping me but i did the only thing i knew how to do. I ran!
Harry's POV
" where did Em go?" michael asked me like i had a clue
" i have no idea. she said she was getting the others so they could start."
" oh, ok. So you like Calum don't you?" The boy returned eating a slice of pizza, i swear he is always eating.
" shh! why would you think that? I dont and he dont like me so no biggie"
" Mate, its obvious and i've known you for like 2 hours, but Cal hasnt acted like that before it was weird, like you changed him or something. You aint an old love affair too are you?" Does he always ask this many questions. i stayed silent hoping he would drop it.
" im joking dude. But seriously it's like he is wrapped around your finger or something." With that he walked off, it couldn't be true, could it?
