Calums POV
Why does she always run away from the people who care about her? It's like she always runs away from everything. She ran from me and now from Ashton. She should come with instructions on how to keep her. We watched as their taxi drove down the street. I began walking in and realized everyone had already gone inside. I heard sobs from the bathroom but i saw Ashton and Luke in the living room. It must be Michael, but why was he crying? Great Beth has charmed another guy. Luke better watch out he's gonna be next.
I wandered into the living room as Ashton walked out. He wasn't even crying but he had a wet patch on his shoulder whilst humming a tune (A/N in case you didnt realize he is humming If You Don't Know). Luke's eyes were red and puffy so he was the reason for Ashton's wet shoudler.
I heard a noise like mumbling coming from Luke.
Luke's POV
"God Luke you're such a screw up. You knew she was out of your limit. She was obviously doing what Beth did to Calum to me. Being a socially awkward penguin i am i fell for it. Why didnt i ask her out when i had the chance. I'll text her and find out the truth." i told myself.
I took out my phone and realized Calum was staring at me like i was mental. I ran to "my" room and shut the door. I turned on my phone which took 5 hours since it was a Nokia. After 30 seconds it turned on and i saw my wallpaper of me and Em. It gave me the confidence to open my messages.

So like you had to leave but erm i like u alot, alot, alot. It's crazy how much i love you so like will you like you know go on a date with me when you come back. If you come back i'd like to think that i'm the reason, the only reason. xx
Em's POV
My phone buzzed and the new message was from "The Socially Awkward Penguin" who was that and why were they texting me? I opened the messsage which claimed their love for me and asking me if i would go on a date with them. I didn't know what to say so i quickily sent a reply.
To: Socially Awkward Penguin
sorry but who is this??
Beth was asleep so i took her phone to compare numbers. I knew who i wanted it to be so i checked their's first. Oh well done Emma Leigh Smith you done it again this is another Brad Simpson stick Luke in the friendzone so far he can't see the way out. So much for it being different this time, the feels are taking over.
"STOP THE TAXI!" i screamed not caring if i woke Beth. I jumped out while the we were still moving not caring. I had to get back to him.
Luke's POV
My phone went off and i quickily turned it on to see a message Em. In that moment my heart shattered . She asked me who i was. It was just a repeat of what happened with Calum and Beth. Ashton would be better off without her. I got up from the bed and walked into the corridor.
"Guys i'm going into town do you need anything?" i shouted
"SOME BEN AND JERRYS WONT HURT" i heard Michael shout out.
I will just get his favourite Phish Food. Weirdo. Not hearing anyone else shout out requests i walked down the stairs.
Michael's POV
Why is no one else crying? They were their girlfriends they should be torn in two not me. Why am i so depressed about this? I wasnt the one who had feelings for Em, was i? There was a loud buzz which nearly made me fall down the toilet. It must be Lucas with my Ice Cream. I skipped down the stairs but instead stood there was a girl bent over.
She had red puffy eyes, tears running down her face and panting as if she has just ran marthon. Hey was that Em? I felt cheered up instantly. Maybe she came back for me!
"Luke... Luke... where. is. Luke" she said inbetween breaths. Oh right yeah Luke. I was contimplating whether to tell the truth or not. I couldn't lie to her especially when she was like this.
"He went to get me some ice cream" i replied, before i could finish she was running away like i smelt like a fish.
Beth's POV
I woke up and realized the Taxi had stopped. I looked out the window to see Luke walking down the street. I stumbled out to go and talk to him.
"Luke, hey Luke" i shouted from across the street. He turned around and he looked like he had just seen a ghost.
"Beth? Where's Em?" he replied.
"Nice to see you too Lucas. I dont know i woke and she was gone." i replied casually but he looked like he was about to faint. Without saying a word he ran back the way he came. I ran after him recognizing the purple penguin jumper with no hesitation. I ran past Luke. You can clearly see who the athlete here is. Em stopped when she saw me.
"WHERES LUKE!" she screamed. Where were her glasses? Was i ahead of him that much?
"Calm down he is right here" and as if on que Luke came running out behind me. Tripping us both up. No matter how tired she looked Em cracked up with laughter. Luke stood up and everything was awkward. Wait what did i miss.
Luke's POV
I stood up and i could already feel the awkwardness surrounding us. I was about to speak but was interupted by Em rushing into conversation.
"IM SO SORRY I DIDNT REALIZE SOMEONE HAD CHANGED MY CONTACTS SO YOU WERE SOCIALLY AWKWARD PENGUIN BUT THEN I REALIZED AFTERWARDS OMG IM SO SORRY LUKE IM SOR-" she began but i cut her off,
"Of course, thats my nickname from the boys. Trust Michael. It's fine." i said as calmly as i could manage. Relief swept her face then disappointment as she realized she had to leave now.
"i have to go but i promise i will be back, promise" she said. She got in the car leaving Beth on the floor and drove off.
"Well i feel appreciated right now" Beth said. She pulled out her phone probably texting Ash again. Now i need to go get Michael's ice cream. Yay.
Calum's POV
My phone went off. I wondered who it could be since nobody ever messaged me. Beth's name was flashing across the phone. God, what does she want?

Looks like im not going to England after all. Meet me at Starbucks in 10? Can't wait to see you darling, Love you xxx
Looks like my luck is changing. I better go get ready.
