Em's POV

School is starting today. As I walked through the corridor I realised that I didn't have any of my own friends but that's got to change.

I had Music today and since none of my usual 'gang' were here I decide to make a new friend. " Hey, I'm-"

" Yeah, I know your Em. Everyone talks about you. How's your boyfriend?" he empathises the word boyfriend. " erm, I-I don't have one. You are?"

" None of your business!"

How rude? I tried to ignore this mysterious guy but my curiosity got the better of me. When I glanced over he was watching me.

I didn't look at him for the rest of the lesson waiting for the bell to ring. When it finally rang, I went to leave " Dylan. My name is Dylan" he called after me before walking off down the other end of the hall. Dylan? Time to investigate. Usually I would do it with Beth but I guess I have to do it on my own now.

Dylan started at the same time as me. How did I not notice? It says here that he hates attention but always knows the gossip. Sounds like my kind of friend.

Today has been a drag but finally it's time for music. Now I can confront this Dylan guy and find out more about him.

I walked towards him and sat next to him. " Hello" i spoke in the most polite way possible.

" What!" he can't be rude to me and get away with it. I pushed my chair out while standing up. " Don't what me! I came over to bf nice but clearly you just want to be alone all your life! so enjoy that!" I screamed before stalking back to an empty table. I missed everyone especially Luke. But I haven't spoke to him in a while, he probably isn't bothered by it.

Finally the bell rang but before I could leave Dylan came over to me. " What do you want Dylan?" I asked, to tired to yell at him again. " Erm, well I guess your right I could use a friend. Are you busy later?" I shook my head " I'll pick you up at 7" he said while walking away. " How do you know where I live?" I yelled after him.

" Everyone does! every guy has a crush on you so we all know where you live so if there is s break up with you and Prince Charming we can swoop you off your feet." He called back while chuckling. Really every guy has s crush on me? I guess I only have eyes for Luke that's why I didn't realise. Maybe I should message him,

I waited a few minutes before going off to lunch, I sit on my own by the tree, as usual. " Hey, want some company?' I nodded since I knew it was Dylan. The next thing I knew I was surrounded with Dylan's friends. I turned my phone off so I wouldn't be rude and listened to their conversation about all the girls at our school. Except from me but I was glad. " I've gotta go guys, but I'll see you around" I told them before leaving. They were pretending to cry so I turned around and blew a kiss then walked away laughing.

I turned my phone back on and had 1 missed call and 3 texts. One was from Beth saying how she wished I was still their but the rest were from Luke.

I wanted to reply saying that they didn't need a designer to look good but I decided to check the other message first.

Actually u know what I don't miss you and that girl is actually my new girlfriend. She is way better than u. Ur probably just flirting with all the guys in Australia because nobody actually likes you.

This message broke my heart. I realised I had a voice mail and checked it. All I could hear was Luke's faint voice and a girl talking back to him. I actually thought that we could get back together.

I did the only thing I could, I went to find Dylan...
