LOVE ME LIKE YOU DO

Chapter 13

Four days go by and we are working on getting things done and around for the wedding. I noticed as I go to get up in the morning and that I have been getting sick to my stomach. But as soon as I ate some crackers and drank some juice that the feeling went away. It was Monday the week of mine and Matt's wedding and I still was getting sick every morning. I couldn't put my finger on it why. I could tell something was off about me just didn't know what.
I was getting around for the day before I ran to the bathroom and got sick. This time willow had heard me get sick and she went and got Sarah for me. Sarah came into the bedroom and knocked on the bathroom door.
"Becky you ok?" Said Sarah
"I don't know think I caught some kind of bug" I said
"A bug? Like the flu?" Said Sarah
"Something like that I've been getting sick every morning for the past like four days.just in the morning though but as soon as I get something to eat then I'm fine" I Said
"And you have no idea what it could be" said Sarah
"Well I have a feeling but I want to be wrong" I Said
"What's your feeling?" Asked Sarah as she opened the door and came in to the restroom. I got up off the ground and rinsed out my mouth and cleaned myself up. I brushed my teeth to get the taste of puke out. After that I looked at Sarah in the bathroom mirror. She could tell that I was pale and didn't look like myself.
"I think I might be pregnant" I Said
"Pregnant?" Asked Sarah she closed the door so willow couldn't hear us.
"Yes" I Said. "it's just a feeling but I'm usually right when it's a gut feeling like this."
"Like a sixth sense" said Sarah
"Right" I Said
"Well do you want to go to the walk in clinic. I'll watch willow for you while you go" Said Sarah
"I think I better go but I have to talk to Matt about it. Not sure how I am going to say it" I Said
"Well you have to tell him" Sarah Said
"I know. Just how do I say it?" I said as I sat down on the closed toilet seat. Sarah sat down on the bench that was in the bathroom across from me.
"Not sure Becky. But I'm sure you will figure it out. Just come out with it and tell him. Maybe he will go with you to the clinic" said Sarah.
"Maybe I'll call him now" I Said. Willow knocked on the door.
"Mommy I'm hungry" Said willow.
"Here I'll go get her breakfast while you call Matt. Then I'll fix you some toast and juice" Said Sarah
"Thanks Sarah" I Said
"Your welcome"Said Sarah. We hugged and she left the room. I grabbed my phone that was on the bathroom sink near me and called Matt. He answered.
"Hey there gorgeous" said Matt
"Hi hon" I said
He must have noticed something in my tone of voice because he then said "What's wrong?"
"It's really nothing just think I caught some kind of bug or flu" I Said
"Your sick?" He asked worry was edge in his voice with also concern for me and my well being. God I loved this man.
"Just like in the morning. But once I eat something small I'm fine" I Said
"Hmm maybe you should go to the walk in clinic. I'll come pick you up and take you myself" Said Matt
"Yeah but I don't want you to catch whatever this may be in case it is the bug or flu" I said
"Becky we are getting married on Saturday. I'm going to be with you and be here for you. In sickness and in health" Said Matt
I smiled. He was so amazing. "Okay hon. Thank you. I'll see you in about ten minutes" I Said
"Okay hon. Be there soon. I love you Becky" Said Matt
"I love you too.  Bye" I said.
"Bye" Said Matt. I pressed the end call button. I got up off the toilet then looked myself in the mirror. Am I really pregnant again? I thought to myself as I did my hair and makeup and finished getting ready for the day.
After I was done I went to the kitchen and Sarah gave me my toast and some apple juice. I sipped on the juice and ate the toast and then helped calm my stomach down.
"Thank you Sarah" I Said
"No problem Becky. Just let me know what the doctor says" said Sarah
"Doctor?" Mark came out of He and Sarah's bedroom. He was dressed and ready to go to work. He didn't have off again from work till the weekend. Then he was going to help with the wedding.
"Yeah I think I might be sick with something" I said
"That's not good Becky and right before your wedding too. I hope whatever it is goes away" said Mark
"Oh it won't for awhile" I Said. I looked down at the ground. Mark gave Sarah a look.
"What is it?if it's just the bug or flu won't it just go away?" He asked her
"If it is that but it might be something else hon" said Sarah
"I hope not she has enough on her plate right now with this wedding deal. What else could it be if it's not the bug or flu?" Said Mark
"She could be PG" said Sarah
Marks eyes widened. I looked up at them. Mark came over and hugged me just then.
"It will be okay Becky. Let us know what the doctor says, we will watch willow" said Mark
"Thank you Mark you guys are amazing" I Said hugging him back in return. Ten minutes later Matt arrived and knocked on the door. Mark opened the door and Matt came inside. I stood up and Matt walked right over to me and engulfed me in a hug. I hugged him back and then he leaned down and kissed me gently on the lips.
"Dude if it's the flu or bug your going to get it now" said Mark
"I don't care" Said Matt. "I'm here for my fiancée. If I get sick I get sick. Right now all I care about is her. And besides we don't know what it is. Hopefully whatever it is will go away before the wedding"
Mark and Sarah looked at each other. "Let's just go and find out. Willow mommy will be back" I said to her. Willow hugged me and I hugged her back.
"Okay mommy I love you" Said willow
"I love you too sweetheart" I Said. Me and Matt held hands as we walked back outside to his car. I got in the passenger side and he got inside next to me on the drivers side. He started up the car and then drove out of Sarah's driveway and onto the road. He headed in the direction of the walk in clinic that was in the hospital.
We got there and then got out of the car after Matt parked and shut off the ignition. He held my hand as we walked inside the hospital and over to where the clinic was. We walked inside the office and Matt went and sat down while I registered myself in. Then I sat down by Matt in the waiting room.
One of my friends from high school Wendy saw me and Matt in the waiting room of the clinic when she walked by us in the hall. She came into the waiting room.
"Hi Becky" Said Wendy.
"Wendy it's so good to see you" I Said. I stood up and we hugged. "How are you?"
"I'm good. Glad to see you. You look great" Said Wendy. She sat down and we started talking, I filled her in about everything and showed her my engagement ring and told her about the wedding that was on Saturday that her and her family were invited too.
"I'll let mom and dad know and see if we can all go on Saturday" said Wendy
"Okay. How is your daughter?" I asked her. Her daughter June was a year younger then Willow. She showed me a picture.
"Boy she's gotten big" I said
"Yeah she has so has willow I see" Said Wendy when I showed her a picture of willow. "So what are you here for?" I asked her curiously
"Oh just had an appointment"Said Wendy. "I broke my hand a few weeks ago and I had physical therapy on it today". She showed me the cast on her wrist.
"Oh ow sorry you broke her hand" I said.
"It's okay doesn't hurt as bad now just sore. But I take pain meds for it and now just deal with the physical therapy" said wendy. "Why are you guys here?"
"Becky Might be sick with something not sure what" Said Matt as he wrapped his arm around my shoulders. He kissed my head after I laid it down on his shoulder.
"Awe sorry your sick. Hope you feel better soon" Said Wendy
"Thanks Wendy" I Said.
"Becky" said a nurse through another doorway that went into the exam rooms.
"Well you better get in there. Talk to you later hopefully I'll see you on Saturday" Said Wendy
"Okay Thanks Wendy Bye great seeing you" I Said. I stood up and we hugged. Then wendy walked away. I watched her go.
"I'll wait for you out here Becky" Said Matt
"Okay hon. I'll be back" I Said. I kissed him on the lips before following the nurse through the hall and into one of the exam rooms. We sat down in the room.
"My name is Debra and I will be your nurse. How are you feeling today Becky" said the nurse.
"Not the greatest. Been getting sick the past four mornings. But then as soon as I eat something I'm fine" I Said
"Hmm. Have you gotten your period" said Debra
"No not yet but I usually get it at the end of the month" I Said. "I have a hunch what this is because I really don't think it's the bug or flu."
"What do you think it is? Or what is your body telling you?" Said Debra
"I think I might be pregnant I know it can be too early to tell. Because I've been pregnant before but it's acting the same as it did when I was pregnant for my daughter maybe just a little earlier then before" I said
"Well we will do a pee and blood test and see if you are" said Debra. She checked my blood pressure and sugar levels and they were up a little high. Temperature was normal and my weight was good. Then she handed me a cup and I went into the bathroom and filled it. Cam back out after washing my hands good and she took the cup.
Then she wrote my name on it and then took blood out of my arm with a needle. Had to look away because I hated needles. But I knew this was the only way to get the best results.
She then took down my information and put it into the computer.
"It will take three days for the results to come back" said Debra. "So come back in on Thursday"
"Okay Thanks Debra" I Said
"Your welcome" said Debra. She gave me a lollipop and I took it and then left the exam room. I walked back out into the waiting room and over to Matt.
He stood up upon seeing me. "So what is it?" He asked
"Not sure will have to see when the results come back. Have to be back here in three days" I Said
"Okay hon, you want me to come with you on Thursday?" Said Matt
I smiled at him before kissing him on the cheek. "I wouldn't have it any other way" I Said. He smiled and kissed me on the lips before we left the clinic hand in hand.
