Chapter 14

"Beck Becky honey wake up" Said Matt in my ear as i slept. I stirred and woke up.i opened my eyes and sat up on the couch. Matt sat down next to me.
"Everything ok" I Said yawning and stretching.
"Yeah all is fine. I came out here wanting to talk to you but Sarah said you had fallen asleep on the couch. I let you sleep for about two hours" Said Matt
"Guess I needed a nap" I said. Matt chuckled and kissed my cheek.
"Yeah I guess so" Said Matt. "Anyways your mother called"
"She did?" I Asked I looked around on the couch and didn't see my phone. "Where's my phone?"
"You left it on the kitchen table. It's okay I talked to her, told her what's been going on except for you know what" Said Matt. I nodded knowing what he was talking about right away. "And she said she had a surprise for you"
"What is it?" I asked
"Don't know. All she said was that she wanted us to go to your sisters house. Said that the surprise is there" Said Matt
"Oh okay. Well then let's go" I Said standing up.
Matt stood up too. He went to the bedroom and made willow a bag.
"Do you guys want to go with us?" I asked Sarah.
"No marks at work now and he won't get out till late tonight. I'll see you guys later" said Sarah
"Are you sure?" I asked her
"Yes Becky I'm sure. Go have fun I'll talk to you later" Said Sarah.
"Okay" I Said. We left the house and Matt helped willow into the car. Then we got in the car and he drove us to my sisters house. When we arrived there I noticed a silver van in the driveway.
"Well that van looks familiar" I Said
"Yeah it does" Said Matt.
"Uncle mikes van!!" Shrieked willow and before me and Matt could stop her she took off to the house. We ran after her. We got to the front door and opened it and willow ran inside right into michaels arms.
"Uncle Mike!" She said happily. Michael laughed as he hugged her. I smiled upon seeing my older cousin. He smiled back at me before putting willow down then he and I hugged and he and Matt did a friendly hug.
"I'm so glad you could make it cuz. But where is everybody?" I Said looking around for my sister brother in law and nieces and nephew. They were no where to be seen.
"Oh they all went to the store will be back soon" Said Michael. "But I'm not the only one that's here"
"Your not?" I looked at him confused. He grabbed my hand and we headed for the back of the house to the back door. Matt and willow followed also confused. Michael opened the back door and there I saw my mom and my aunt meg talking on Megan's back porch. They smiled when they saw me and both stood up. I gave my mom the biggest hug I could muster then hugged my aunt meg.
" I can't believe you guys are here!!" I Said I was so happy upon seeing them. As was willow who couldn't stop hugging her grandmother. Matt was finally able to pull willow away and he took her to the front yard so she could play on the swing set.
"Sorry about willow" I said as I sat down to talk to them.
"It's okay Becky" said patty. "I'm just glad I am here."
"Yeah how are you guys here?" I asked
"Oh well Chris couldn't come but he offers his apologies and said for me to tell you and Matt that he's happy for you guys and can't wait to see you all when you come home to Arizona." Said patty
"Okay well tell him thank you for me and that's it's okay that he couldn't come too" I said
"He did want to but he just couldn't get off from work. I was lucky. I called my boss told her the situation about you getting married in pa and that I didn't want to miss it. And that you needed me here. And she she let me have off. I just have to work 60 hours next week to make up the time" Said patty. "I only can be here for the weekend"
"As can I. I just used some of my vacation time" said Meg.
"That's okay mom all I care about is that you are here" I said. "Both of hWe both stood up and hugged again this time tears in our eyes. When we pulled away I wiped my tears away with my sleeve.
"And me you care that I'm here too right Becky" Said aunt meg. I hugged her again.
"Of course I do. Now you guys can help with the rest of the wedding" I Said
"What all do you have left?" Asked patty
"Well tomorrow morning Matt and I have to go to the court house to get our marriage licenses and papers" I said. "Then tomorrow night is the wedding rehearsal"
"Okay" said both patty and meg
"Really all that's left is the flower arrangements for my tables and my bouquet" I Said. "Matt's mom Beth is doing the bouquet right now and it's at her house but I'm sure Matt can get it so you can finish it if you want. She has been a huge help with all of this wedding stuff. She even told me that when she was young she always wanted to be a wedding planner but never got to do it. This is her very first wedding planning she has ever done"
"Wow that's so nice of her. I'm glad she has been helping you" said patty. "I would have if I could have been here sooner"
"It's okay mom don't worry about it. You are here now that's what matters" I said
"Right" said patty. "So what else needs done?"
"Nothing I believe that is about it" I Said. "Megan, Sarah, Bethany and Erin are all my bridesmaids. There is no maid of honor. Clayton, Jordan (Matt's brother), Adam (Bethany's husband) and Norm (Matt's best friend) are the groomsmen. Everyone already has their clothes and ready for Saturday"
"Yeah Megan showed us her dress the second we got here"said meg
"It's pretty but green" said patty
"That's the colors. Green and blue" I said
"Well we figured that much" said meg.
"But what about your dress Becky?" Asked my mom
"Can we see it?" Meg Asked
"Sorry guys but no one can see it. Not even Matt. I have it hidden in the closet back at Sarah's. She and Megan are the only ones that know about it. They both went with me to David's Bridal to help me buy it a couple days ago. I didn't let them take any pictures because it's suppose to be a surprise for everyone" I Said
"I can't believe you won't at least tell us what it looks like" said patty
"I can't I'm sorry my lips are sealed shut. But I will add this" I said. "The dress looks fabulous on me" I added with a grin. All my aunt meg and my mom did was look at each other. Like me telling them that help them picture the dress. I giggled.
"Sorry believe me I want to tell you guys but I can't. I really want it to be a surprise" I Said
"Okay we can wait till Saturday" Said patty. "Where we having the wedding again?"
"At our church. All of our church members are going to be there including all my friends and our family. The reception is going to be outside in the yard and it's all ready all set up, I can't wait for you guys to see it tomorrow. We've been working hard getting this done within the month and I can't believe the wedding is the day after tomorrow" I Said
"Are you having a dj?" Asked my aunt meg.
"Your looking at him" said Michael as he walked over to us from the front yard. He had went to the front yard with Matt and willow.
"You said you were just doing the music for when Becky walks down the aisle" said patty
"Yes but I'm also the dj too. Me and Matt are thinking about heading over to the church now to get the dj equipment all set up for Saturday" said Michael
"Getting it done and out of the way and making sure it all works good idea" I Said. "You guys will need a key. Matt has the one that the pastor of our church gave us to borrow."
"He's not the one marrying you is he?" Asked meg
"No no pastor Monterrey" I said.
"He use to be our pastor years ago. He's great. Wait till you meet him meg" said patty
"He will be here tomorrow" I Said
"He driving all the way from Erie?" Asked patty
"Yep. He and his wife Valerie. They are staying at a hotel for now but he told me a few days ago that he had arrived here but he and Valerie wanted to do some sight seeing" I said remembering the conversation I had with him prior.
"Oh cool" Said patty breaking me out of my thoughts. "You Okay Becky you look a little pale?"
"Yeah Im fine. All this talk about the wedding has my nerves all on edge I know it's going to wonderful just you know nervous" I Said. I held my stomach starting to feel nauseous. Matt who, at that moment, was walking back over to us with willow noticed that I looked like I was about to hurl.
"Hey willow why don't we show aunt meg and grandma what we can do" said Matt distracting my mom and aunt meg and cousin. I got up and ran to the bathroom as everyone else watched Matt and willow. He was trying to teach willow how to do forward rolls earlier this week and now they had it down he wanted to show everyone.
While he was doing that I ran to Megan's bathroom and puked as soon as I got to the toilet and opened it. I got down on my knees as I emptied out my stomach. God this was one thing that I hated about pregnancy. But I knew and understood that it was a part of it and I just had to deal with it. When I was done I cleaned out my mouth went to the bathroom for the upteenth time I had gone this week and last and then finally washed my hands and left the bathroom. I went to Megan's kitchen and opened up one of her cupboards. I pulled out a package of crackers and one of the kids juice and sat down and had a snack. Had to eat something. Michael walked in and saw me eating.
"You Okay" He said noticing that I wasn't pale anymore but was eating.
"Yeah I'm good" I Said. "Was just hungry was running a low blood sugar"
"Oh okay. Well we don't need anything happening to you before the wedding" said Michael
"Exactly" I Said. "Cracker?" I handed him some and he smiled and stood there eating with me.
"So are you excited to be getting married?" He asked
"Yes I am. And nervous, anxious, a little scared, excited, you know all of it" I Said
"I'm sure you are" said Michael as he stole another cracker out of the pack I had. I smiled and gave him more.
Just then Matt walked in and told Michael that they were going to go to the church. He waved bye to me and then he and Michael left to the church in michaels van. While I was  snacking and eating Megan Clayton and the kids came home. Megan and Clayton walked in and saw me eating.
"Having yourself a little snack is we?" Joked Clayton
"Yeah sorry I was hungry was having a low blood sugar" I said
"It's okay sis" said Megan
"Yeah no problem. I was just teasing" said Clayton. He dropped the bags he had in his arms on the table. He went back outside to get more groceries.
"Are you sure your okay Becky?" Asked Megan
"Yes I'm fine. Why does everyone keep asking me that?" I Said starting to get annoyed. Calm down Becky. Don't let your emotions get out of control. We don't need everyone knowing yet, two more days then you can tell them two more days. I breathed in and out and calmed myself down for a few seconds.
"We ask because we are concerned. And want to make sure that you are ready and okay for Saturday" Said Megan. "Plus I can tell something is up with you. I just can't put my finger on it"
"Well I'm fine megs really. Just a lot on my mind you know" I said. "This wedding has got my nerves all messed up"
Megan came over and hugged me. "Well don't worry Becky the wedding is going to go great. I know your nervous but you will be just fine" said Megan. "And besides mom is here now so she can walk you down the aisle and hold dads picture and everything is all ready. We just have to get through tomorrow for the wedding rehearsal and then Saturday is the wedding. And you and Matt will finally be husband and wife just like you always wanted" said Megan
I smiled. She was right, I don't know why I was letting my nerves get the best of me but I knew it was probably just the pregnancy. We started talking and laughing and I started helping her put the groceries away.I really really badly wanted to tell my sister about the pregnancy. An hour and a half later I was just about to tell her and then Matt walks back in. 'Well that was quick' I thought.
"Well that didn't take long?" I Said
"Nope. Michael hooked it all up and it sounds great, everything is set. We just have to bring michaels laptop on Saturday for the wedding" Said Matt. He smiled when he saw Megan.
"Hey megs" Said Matt. "What's for dinner?"
"Burgers hotdogs french fries tater tot bake and fruit salad" Said Megan
"Sounds good sis" said Matt he gave Megan a sideways hug. She hugged him back.
"I'm really happy we are  going to be brother and sister in law" said Megan as she started doing dinner for everyone. Mom and aunt meg came in and started to help with the food.
"Me too megs" Said Matt before he walked over to me and placed his arm around my waist. "You want to go sit down outside?"
"Yeah that sounds fine. We will be outside with the kids" I Said
"Okay. Matt tell Clayton to get the grill out he can do the hotdogs and burgers" said Megan she handed Matt the frozen food and me and him went outside. Clayton was already getting the grill out by the side of the house just as walked out there. Matt placed the frozen food on a table near the grill that Clayton already had out.
"Thanks Matt" he Said. Michael who was in the garage came back out with a big bag of charcoal.
"Is the music all set up and ready?" I asked him
"Yep didn't take long at all"Said Michael. "It sounds great too"
"Good" I Said.
While Michael and Clayton manned the grill me and Matt went over and sat down on the grass. Matt sat down leaning his back against a tree that was in the yard then he pulled me down and I sat between his legs. He wrapped his arms around my waist.
"You must like holding me like this" I Said to him. Matt smiled and kissed my cheek.
"Yes I do" said Matt. "Don't know why but this position works really well for us, it just feels right this way"
"Yeah it does" I Said leaning back against him so I could lay my head down on his chest. He grinned and kissed my head and then cheek. I leaned my head back more as he leaned his down before we kissed on the lips. He deepened the kiss sticking his tongue down my throat as he did so. We pulled away catching our breath before going back to kissing. He ran his hands down my waist around my backside and back to the front again while my hands were busy in his hair. The lack of oxygen pulled us away but we smiled at each other and moved back to the previous position.
"Hey you guys want to play some basketball?" Said Cayden who has his basketball. He was bouncing it on the driveway.
"Sure" me and Matt Said and we got up. We started playing basketball with Cayden. Isabella, willow and Olivia came into the backyard and joined us. Willow was showing the twins how to do the forward roll that she herself was still learning in the yard. We played for awhile and then dinner was ready. We all ate and Megan and me made a chocolate pie for dessert.
After dinner and cleanup was done everyone started to get ready to leave.
"Me and aunt meg got to get going to aunt sharons but we will see you tomorrow for rehearsal. What time do you want to meet at the church?" Said my mom
"5" I said
"We are going out to dinner afterwards"Said Matt
"Sounds like fun" said meg. She got into Michaels van. He got in on the drivers side.
I hugged my mom. "See you tomorrow" I Said
"You will Becky. I love you" said patty
"I love you too" I Said
Patty got in on the passengers side of the van. Then they all waved bye to us before Michael drove out of the driveway and down the road.
"We got to get going too Becks, have a busy day tomorrow. And we have to get up early to get to the court house" said Matt
"Okay hon" I said.
"We have to go?" Said willow tugging on my arm. I looked down at her and smiled.
"Yeah we do honey. We have a busy day tomorrow" I Said. "Me and Matt have to go to the court house and then we have our wedding rehearsal tomorrow night."
"And Saturday you Matt get married" said willow
"That's right then Matt will be your new daddy" I Said
Willow smiled at that. She hugged Matt. "He is my daddy" she said
"I sure am. Let's get in the car" said Matt and he took her over to his car.
"Awe that was so cute" said Megan
"I know I told you he already thinks of willow as his kid" I said
"Well I believe that now" said Megan
"Alright well see you tomorrow sis. Make sure everyone meets us at the seventh day Adventist church at 5pm" I Said
"Will do" Said Megan. We hugged and then I got in Matt's car. We held hands as he drove us back to Sarahs for the night.
