Chapter 23

The next month in January Matt and Becky we're finally able to move into Matt's grandparents house. They gave them the keys and were glad that they found two responsible people to take good care of their home. Mark and Sarah helped bring their stuff in and then they help them set it up. Becky did the kitchen and got everything put away in the their own place and she got to set it up the way she wanted. After everything was set up and hooked up it looked like their new home. They went to the furniture store a few days later and got willow all Minnie Mouse furniture. She was thrilled and they got it set up in her new room. "Your new house is beautiful Becky. I'm so happy you and Matt are taking this house. I grew up here" said Beth later on that afternoon when they were sitting in the living room drinking coffee. Willow Matt and John we're outside.
"Thank you and I know. I'm glad your mom and dad gave it to us. I'm sorry that they are going to a nursing home village. Are they going to be happy there?" Becky told her.
"Yes I think so. So far they love it" Said Beth. "How does willow like her new room?" Asked Beth
"She loves it" Said Becky.
"When are you and Matt going to go on your honeymoon?" Beth Asked next
"We were thinking August for my birthday" said Becky.
"Awe that's a great idea"said Beth. They talked for awhile more till Matt John and willow came back inside and they ate dinner. Matt made steak, mashed potatoes and tossed salad. For dessert was chocolate cake. Then Beth and John hugged them all goodbye and left for the night.
Becky got willow ready for bed and soon willow was sound asleep in her new bed in her new room. Becky came back downstairs and helped Matt with the cleanup. Then they sat down in the living room and watched a movie together.
"Do you like our new home Becky"

"I know but you and Matt can always adopt" Said Megan

"So willow is going to watched by Beth and John?"
"Yeah they said they wanted to watch her while we were gone. Said that they'd haven't gotten to watch her yet which is true and want to get to know her since they are her grandparents now" said Becky
"They will do a good job watching her" Said Megan.
"Oh I know they will. They will be here tonight to take her because we have to leave here by 430 in the morning. Flight is at 530" Said Becky
Willow walked into the room. She sat down in the bed. "Do you like our new home aunt Megan" said willow
"I love it willow bean" said Megan she hugged willow and willow hugged her aunt back. Willow noticed the pictures in Beckys hands.

"No sweetie this is your baby brother or sister that I lost. Mommy was just looking at it" Said Becky.
"Oh okay" Said willow. Becky put it away and then finished packing her bags. Megan helped her bring her bags downstairs to the front door.
"all your bags packed Matt?" Megan asked him when they got back downstairs. Matt and Clayton were sitting in the living room playing Matt's Xbox.
"Yeah I had that done since yesterday. Yours done Beck?" Matt looked at Becky. She nodded and smiled at him before going out to the kitchen. Matt looked at Megan.
"Has she been crying?" He asked her
Megan nodded. "Yeah she was going through the nightstand getting what she needs for the trip out and she found the ultra sound pictures of the baby you guys were suppose to have" Megan told him.
"I was thinking that me and Becky could adopt a baby after we get back from our honeymoon" Said Matt.
"I think Becky would love that" Said Megan. She sat down on her couch and hugged her brother in law. He hugged her back.
"We can always look at adoption agencies and even the foster homes for you guys if you want while you are gone" suggested Clayton.
"Really? You guys would do that for us?" MAtt asked surprised
"Yeah sure why not" said Clayton
"Wow thanks guys"Said Matt.
"Your welcome" Said Clayton. Matt stood up and went to go get a drink in the kitchen. Becky was at the sink doing up some of the dishes that were left there. He walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. She stopped cleaning and leaned back against him.
"You ok Becky?" He asked her. Becky nodded.
"Yeah I'm okay I was just thinking" Becky Said. "Sorry if I was worrying you when I came downstairs. I was going through the nightstand and I found those ultra sound pictures"
"I know hon it's okay" Said Matt. Becky turned around and Matt hugged her pulling her body close to him. She hugged him back nesting her face into his chest.
"I was out there talking to Megan and Clayton and they said they were going to look at adoption agencies and foster homes for us. Maybe when we get back from our trip we can take a look at them" Matt told her

"Only if you want to we can discuss it more when we get back from our trip and then decide" Said Matt. "Do you like the idea of adopting?"
Becky nodded. "Yes I do" she said.
"Well then we should do it" Said Matt.
"Well let's talk about it more later" said Becky.
"Okay hon" said Matt. He and Becky kissed and hugged. Then they went back out into the living room. Clayton ordered pizza for everyone and then they ate. Beth and John got to the house after Megan and Clayton left to pick up willow. Becky had all of Willows bags packed and Matt helped his dad take them out to the car.
"You get to play with Jaylin and Truman when you get to our house" Said Beth
"Yay can't wait to see them" Said willow happily.
Becky hugged willow. "Have a good time with grandma and grandpa and be a good girl. Mommy loves you very much and will see you in two weeks" Said Becky

"Be a good girl and we will bring you back something special from Italy" said Matt

"I love you willow" said Becky

"Bye guys have a good time call us when you arrive at the hotel" said Beth after she helped willow in the car and walked back over to Becky and Matt. She hugged her son and then hugged Becky.
"Bye and we will call" said Becky
"Yes we will" Said Matt. "Bye mom bye dad"
"Bye guys love ya" said John. He and Beth walked back over to their car. Got in and waved goodbye to Becky and Matt then they drove away.
Matt yawned and looked at his watch. "We better go get some sleep Beck before we have to leave to go to the airport" Said Matt
"Okay love" said Becky. They grabbed hands and walked inside their home closing and locking the door behind them.
At 330 in the morning the next day Becky and Matt woke up and got dressed and ready to leave for the airport. After they were ready they locked up their house. Matt put their bags and suitcases into the trunk and then they got into the car. He drove them to the airport. When they arrived there they got their bags out of the trunk and headed inside the airport to check in at the front desk.
After that they went through security with their duffles and then went to their gate to wait for their plane. Becky and Matt sat down together when they got to their gate. When it was time to board they got on the plane and went to their seats.
Becky sat at a window seat and Matt sat down beside her. Once the plane was in the air Becky gazed out the window seeing all the clouds. Matt leaned over and kissed her neck. Becky giggled.

The plane landed in Florence Italy six hours later.
Matt paid for a rental car and a driver came to the airport and dropped it off. They got into the rental car after putting their bags in the trunk and drove to their hotel that they would be staying at while there in Italy. They got to their hotel parked their car and walked into the hotel with their suitcases and bags. It was a five star resort hotel and casino with a huge lobby. A fountain sat in the middle greeting guests.

They checked in at the front desk and got their room key. Then they took the elevator to the fourth floor. They reached their hotel room and Matt opened the door with the room key. "I am taking you to a castle then we are going on a hot air ballon ride and last out to dinner at a very fancy restaurant" Matt said

"Well then let's get going" Said Matt
"Okay" said Becky. They hurriedly got dressed and ready for the day. Then they went and got breakfast. Becky ordered pancakes and Matt had an Italian omelet. After they finished they took their rental car to the castle.
They got to the castle and Becky stared up at the towers. "I wish that I were a princess"

Matt smiled. "I'm glad that you enjoyed it."
Later that afternoon they went on a hot air ballon ride. They soared up to the sky looking over the city of Florence.

After the ride was over Becky and Matt headed back for their hotel to rest for a few hours before dinner.
"This birthday has been the best day so far"
"I'm glad you are enjoying it love" Said Matt. He sat up and then pulled out a bag from underneath the pillow he handed it to Becky. She found a birthday card and the necklace she wanted that was at the jewelry store. She grinned happily and kissed Matt hard on the lips.

"I saw you admiring it and thought you had to have that for your special day" Said Matt.

"I love you too." Matt took the necklace out of the box and Becky took off the one she had on. He put on her new necklace for her. She got off the bed and went to look at it in the mirror. The waiter nodded and walked away.

"Is there anywhere else you want to go while we are here?" Asked Matt
"Yes Rome" said Becky.
"Let's spend a few more days here and then we will go to Rome for a day or two."

After they were done eating their meal they split tiramisu for dessert. Once dinner was done and they arrived back to their hotel and room Becky and matt staggered into their room drunk. "Yes I want to hear everything" Said John as he joined them in the living room. They all sat down on the couches. While they talked and told matts parents about the trip Becky handed a stuffed dog with the name Italy on it to willow and a new shirt. Becky handed a bag to Beth and she opened it and found a Capri opal necklace. Matt-handed his dad a bag and inside was a hat that said Italy on it.
"Wow thanks guys but you didnt have to get us anything" Said John
"Well we wanted to" said Becky.
"This necklace is beautiful Becky" Said Beth. "Thank you"
"Your welcome glad you like it" said Becky. Matt opened another bag and handed Beth and John each a Roman coin.
"Thought you guys might like these" Said Matt
"Oh these are cool son thanks" Said John
"Very cool" Said Beth. They talked for awhile and showed Matt's parents their pictures and things they did in Italy for awhile. Then they had spaghetti for dinner and soon it was time to go home. Matt took willow and her stuff out to the car and got her in her booster seat. Becky hugged John and Beth.
"Thanks guys so much for watching willow for us" said Becky
"Oh your welcome dear. She was a very good girl but missed you guys" said Beth
"Hope you don't mind but I spoiled her with snacks and toys the whole time she was here" said John
"That's okay dad. As long as she had fun and was good that's all that matters" said Becky.
"Well you guys hav a good night. And drive home safe" Said Beth.
"We will. Have a good night" said Becky. She got in the car. Matt rolled down his window after he got in.
"Bye mom bye dad see ya later" Said Matt.
"Bye love you guys" said both Beth and John.
"Bye love you too" Matt and Becky said in unison. Then Matt put the car in reverse drove down the driveway and then onto the road back to their home.
